What I've learned about gratitude in business. As we celebrate Thanksgiving, it’s the perfect time to reflect on gratitude, not just in life but in business too. In the spirit of the season, I thought I would share three reasons I believe a little thankfulness goes a long way: 1. Gratitude Builds Stronger Relationships A simple “thank you” or personalized message of gratitude can deepen connections. When we appreciate each other, it fosters trust and collaboration—two ingredients for long-term success. 2. It Fuels Creativity (and we love that!) When we focus on the positives and celebrate wins, big or small, it inspires fresh ideas and keeps the creative energy flowing. Gratitude nurtures optimism, and optimism drives innovation! 3. It Creates a Positive Ripple Effect Gratitude is contagious. Showing appreciation uplifts teams, partners, and clients, creating an environment where everyone thrives. I am infinitely grateful for the opportunity to work with such a great team of creatives as we continue our mission to serve our clients by providing them with the highest quality creative possible. Wishing you a happy Thanksgiving filled with warmth, joy, and peace. With gratitude, Kate

🍁 Reflecting on Gratitude and Legacy This Thanksgiving 🍁 As Thanksgiving approaches, I find myself pausing to reflect on the true meaning of gratitude, connection, and legacy. This day is more than a celebration of abundance and shared meals—it’s an opportunity to honor the people, experiences, and values that shape our lives. For me, Thanksgiving is a reminder of the power of community. Whether it’s the ballroom floor, the boardroom, or the spaces where we come together to create and inspire, we all carry the ability to elevate one another. Gratitude fuels this, allowing us to recognize the beauty of our journeys and the potential in what lies ahead. I’ve learned to value life’s essentials: the support of loved ones, the energy to push forward, and the creativity to build something lasting. These aren’t just personal truths—they reflect what I aim to embody in my work, whether it’s helping others define their brand, build their legacy, or navigate the entrepreneurial world with confidence and grace. This Thanksgiving, I’m thankful for the amazing individuals in my life—my family, friends, clients, and collaborators. Each of you is part of a larger story, one where we strive to make an impact, not just for ourselves but for those who come after us. As you gather around your tables, I encourage you to think about your legacy. What mark are you leaving on the world? How can gratitude and connection inspire your next steps? Take this time to rest, recharge, and dream. Let this holiday remind you that success is not just in the achievements but in the relationships, lessons, and moments of joy that shape our lives. From my family to yours, I wish you a Thanksgiving filled with love, laughter, and inspiration to reach new heights. Thank you for being part of my journey and for allowing me to be part of yours. Happy Thanksgiving, and cheers to building a legacy of gratitude and purpose! #Thanksgiving2024 #Gratitude #LegacyBuilding #LaurenLaPointe #ElevateYourBrand #BuildYourLegacy #InspireAndConnect

Gratitude Beyond the Dinner Table 🍂 This Thanksgiving, many of us will pause to give thanks for family, friends, and abundance. But here’s a challenge: can we also find gratitude for work? I get it - work doesn’t always feel like something to be thankful for. It’s easy to focus on the grind, the frustrations, or the purely transactional nature of it. But gratitude can change the energy you bring to work - and what you get from it. And here’s the best part: it’s free. Even the most challenging parts of work - like that coworker who pushes all your buttons - might hold hidden gifts. I’m personally grateful for someone who sparked a negative reaction in me. Why? They helped me uncover something deeper about myself, and that self-awareness has made me stronger. Gratitude reminds us we’re not operating in isolation. It helps us see the connections that support us, challenge us, and help us grow. When we honor those connections, they often honor us right back. This Thanksgiving, let’s widen the lens and find gratitude - even in unexpected places. ✨ 💡 What’s something about work you’re grateful for?

Happy Thanksgiving! Today, I want to take a moment to appreciate the amazing people in my life. I’m really grateful for my old friends who have remained true and stuck with me over the years, even when we’re miles apart or have taken different life journeys. It’s a great feeling to know we can always count on each other. To the new friends I’ve made recently—you’ve brought fresh energy, hope, and new opportunities into my life. You’ve helped me see the world in new ways and reminded me that we’re never alone on this journey. I’m also thankful for the people who’ve shown integrity, kindness, leadership, and a real commitment to making life better for others. I am thankful to all the readers here who follow me and find shared value as we exchange our thoughts and ideas. You inspire me to keep improving myself. A big thank you to those who’ve shared their knowledge and experience with me, helping me grow both personally and professionally. And, of course, to my little one—you teach me more about life and love every day. You remind me that one of the most important things we can do is care for others. Lastly, I’m so thankful for my family, both near and far, for always being there as my support system, no matter the distance. As Thanksgiving approaches, I’ve been thinking about the people and moments that shaped this year. The colleagues who showed up when it mattered most. The clients who trusted me with their goals. The friends and family who kept me grounded. And I keep coming back to this thought: How can I make sure they know what they mean to me? For me, a handwritten note is one of the simplest but most meaningful ways to say, “You matter.” It’s not about crafting the perfect words or having fancy stationery. It’s about taking the time to pause, reflect, and let someone know they’ve made an impact on your life. Writing a note is one of my bestie's superpowers. In one little note, with 4 or 5 sentences, she makes me feel valued, seen, and worthy. Here’s the magic of a handwritten note: It lasts. Unlike a text or an email, a physical note is something your tribe can hold onto. They might keep it in a drawer, pin it to a board, or revisit it on a tough day. (mine are on our Thankful board!)It’s personal. A note says, “I took the time to think about you.” That kind of effort stands out in a fast-paced, digital world. It’s personal. A note says, “I took the time to think about you.” That kind of effort stands out in a fast-paced, digital world. It builds connection. Whether you’re a leader writing to a team member, a friend reaching out to someone you care about, or simply expressing thanks to someone who helped you, a note can strengthen relationships in ways you might not expect. This Thanksgiving, I’m challenging myself to write a few notes to people who’ve made an impact on me this year. It won't be long or fancy—but it will be real. If you’ve been inspired by someone, supported by a team member, or touched by a friend’s kindness, I encourage you to join me. Let’s use this season of gratitude to create meaningful connections that last far beyond the holiday. Who are you thankful for this Thanksgiving? Let’s take a moment to let them know. Who will join me in this challenge? #GratitudeChallenge #Thanksgiving #LeadWithHeart #Leadership #LynseyMulder

🦃 A Thanksgiving Reflection: Gratitude, Family, and Values That Connect Us All 🍂 This Thanksgiving, Change Pioneers finds itself reflecting deeply on the power of values—the ones cherished in personal lives and how they translate into the organizations we build and lead. At home, values like love, trust, and support create the foundation for families. They guide how people care for one another, face challenges together, and celebrate life's victories. These moments of gratitude remind us of what truly matters. In business, the same holds true. Just like families, companies thrive when they're built on shared values—integrity, collaboration, and a sense of purpose. These are what unite teams, inspire innovation, and create meaningful impact. As we think about the connections and impact we share, Change Pioneers is grateful not only for our ecosystem but also for the communities we’re part of, professionally and personally. Both have taught us that values are more than words—they’re #actions, #commitments, and the glue that binds us through the highs and lows. This Thanksgiving, we want to say thank you to the people who bring these values to life every day—families at home and the professional family who share a vision of building something bigger than ourselves. This Thanksgiving, we encourage everyone to take a moment to recognize the values they hold dear, express gratitude for those who embody them, and recommit to living them out—in families, workplaces, and the world. Wishing you a joyful and reflective Thanksgiving filled with gratitude and connection! 🧡 What values are you celebrating this Thanksgiving? Let’s share and inspire each other in the comments below. 🌟 #Thanksgiving #Gratitude #Family #CorporateValues #Leadership

Happy Thanksgiving!! 🍂 Even though I’m not from the US (bonjour from France 🇫🇷!), this holiday has always resonated with me. It’s a chance to reflect on resilience, togetherness, and gratitude—and those are universal. This year hasn’t been without its challenges—and I’m sure you’re on the same boat 🚤—but I count myself lucky to have a roof over my head, a healthy and happy family, and a job I’m excited about when I wake up in the morning, thanks to the amazing clients I work with! 🥳 So yes, I’ve realized how much I’ve had to be thankful for. 🙏🏻 Gratitude isn’t just a feel-good practice; it’s a powerful tool. It keeps us resilient, grounded, and open to possibility—even when the 💩 hits the fan. It’s also something I share with my clients as a way to focus on the glass half full 🥛. Today, I’m taking stock of what (and who!) has helped me stay afloat, and honestly, it’s making me that little bit happier just thinking about it. I’d love to invite you to join me in a little Thanksgiving reflection: 👉 What are three things you’re grateful for this year? Big or small, share them with us in the comments—or take a moment to write them down privately. If you’re feeling stuck, here are three questions to help inspire your gratitude: ✨ Who has supported or inspired you the most this year? ✨ What challenge have you overcome, and how did it help you grow? ✨ What small, everyday moment brought you unexpected joy? Wishing you a joyful Thanksgiving filled with connection, warmth, and lots of fun 🤩! #empoweruavenue #gratitude #thanksgivingthoughts #reflection #leadershipcoach #careercoach (Photo of me waiting for the train to London to meet a fun co-facilitator to prep for a session happening in 3 weeks in London 🥳 - misty and cold weather if you’re asking 🥶)

The Power of Gratitude in Life and Business On this Thanksgiving Day, I want to take a moment to reflect on the power of gratitude—not just as a feel-good emotion but as a force that can transform our lives and businesses. Gratitude is about more than just saying “thank you”; it’s about truly appreciating what we have, the people we’re surrounded by, and the opportunities that come our way. When we focus on what we’re thankful for, we shift our mindset from lack to abundance. This creates a ripple effect, bringing positive energy into every aspect of our lives, including our work. In business, gratitude plays a key role. It builds stronger relationships with clients, partners, and even within our teams. A heartfelt “thank you” can leave a lasting impression on someone and make them feel valued. When we approach our work with a grateful heart, we naturally attract more opportunities and foster a sense of trust and positivity that inspires others to support and grow with us. Personally, I’ve found that starting each day with gratitude helps me stay focused and motivated, even when challenges arise. Whether it’s being thankful for my family, the chance to work on something I’m passionate about, or the support of this amazing community, gratitude fuels me to keep going and keep growing. So, today, as we gather with loved ones (or connect in spirit), let’s take a moment to reflect on the blessings in our lives. Think about how gratitude can amplify the good in your life and create a positive ripple in your business. What are you most grateful for today? Let’s share the gratitude and spread that positive energy! Wishing you all a happy Thanksgiving filled with love, joy, and plenty of reasons to be thankful. ❤️

Thanksgiving Day 🦃 Gobble, Gobble! A day where gratitude flows freely, and businesses express thanks to employees and customers alike. Yet, as business owners, we often find ourselves in a lonely place, where appreciation can be scarce. So, today, let's shift the spotlight. Don't worry.... This is personal No one is trying to cancel Macy's parade. Let's pause and take a moment to reflect on our journey this year. It's crucial to acknowledge our hard work and accomplishments, even if it feels a bit uncomfortable. Here are three ways to quietly celebrate yourself today: Reflect on Growth → Take a few minutes to jot down your achievements, both big and small. ↳ Did you survive a tough quarter? ↳ Did you reach a new milestone? Remember, growth isn't always about numbers; it's about resilience and adaptability. Treat Yourself → Consider doing something you love today. ↳ Whether it's a walk in the park, a favorite dish, or a good book, indulge in a simple pleasure. This small act of kindness to yourself can recharge your spirit. Plan for Tomorrow → Use this day of gratitude to envision the future. ↳ What are your goals for next year? ↳ What lessons have you learned that can guide you forward? This forwardthinking mindset can inspire motivation and clarity. Thanksgiving isn’t just about giving thanks to others; it’s about appreciating the journey you've taken and the hurdles you've overcome. As a business owner, you wear many hats, and your dedication deserves recognition. So, let’s not forget to give ourselves a pat on the back today. Take a breath, enjoy the little moments, and remember: You're doing great. How do you plan to celebrate your achievements today?

With today being Thanksgiving, it’s the perfect time to reflect on what makes this holiday special—and no, it’s not just the turkey, sweet potatoes, or a slightly chaotic attempt to perfectly time the green bean casserole. (Seriously, has anyone figured that out yet?) 🤔 Beyond the feast and festivities, Thanksgiving is a reminder of the transformative power of gratitude. 🙏 Gratitude calms our minds, strengthens our connections, and shifts our perspective. Neuroscience even shows that focusing on gratitude can reduce anxiety—it’s hard for our brains to feel thankful and stressed simultaneously. 🧠 Gratitude doesn’t just make us feel good—it helps us lead, connect, and live better. Gratitude reduces anxiety. When we focus on what we have instead of what we lack, it brings peace and clarity. 🫶 Gratitude strengthens leadership. If we want a grateful team, we need to lead with gratitude. It creates a ripple effect of trust and positivity. 💫 Gratitude builds connection. It reminds us that every success is shared—with teammates, family, and friends who help us along the way. 🤝 As you reflect on this past year, think about the growth you’ve experienced—in your business, leadership, and life. Gratitude helps us see the lessons, even in the hard times and reminds us to celebrate the wins. 🥳 This Thanksgiving, let’s remember that it’s not just about the food on the table but the people gathered around it (though, let’s be honest, pie deserves its moment, too! 🥧). Gratitude can transform how we see the world, and we can all be thankful for that. I am incredibly grateful for the privilege of serving alongside my incredible JBF team and connecting with passionate and hardworking people like you! (yes, you reading this!) 💜 I wish you and your family a joyful and gratitude-filled Thanksgiving! 💟
