✍ Crafting an effective #JustTransition plan requires careful evaluation. This new tool helps stakeholders assess their plans against key #sustainability criteria. 💡 How does it work? The tool draws upon 11 internationally recognised core principles—including economic diversification, gender equality, climate commitment and stakeholder engagement—essential for a robust #JustEnergyTransition plan. 🚦 What comes next? A series of traffic-light indicators help you review the performance of a JET plan against these core principles. 🌏 Initially developed by WWF as an EU-focused framework, the tool has been revised for broader international use by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH and WWF. It is designed to support policy-makers, planners, implementation agencies, and other stakeholders as they draw up complex, region-specific just transition plans.
