𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐂𝐮𝐫𝐫𝐲 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐧 (𝐊𝐚𝐫𝐢 𝐀𝐲𝐚𝐦) I've used this Malaysian curry chicken recipe for many years in my restaurant. We've never shared our recipe before, but I've decided to share it today because it's so delicious that I can't keep it to myself. While I understand that taste is a matter of individual preference, this dish has a universal flavor because the ingredients used are commonly available worldwide. Give it a try, and let me know if you enjoy it. Here is how I prepared it: https://lnkd.in/gzNHXgUc . #currychicken #maalaysiancurrychicken

Sushi Without Soy Sauce? Did you know that some types of sushi are traditionally not dipped in soy sauce? According to authentic Japanese customs, sushi like sea eel, clam, boiled squid, egg omelet, and futomaki are meant to be enjoyed without soy sauce. These types of sushi should be tasted as they are, allowing you to savor the unique flavors of each ingredient. That said, sushi with various sauces has also become popular, so why not enjoy the original flavors alongside the traditional way of eating sushi?

Today is National Sushi Day! 🍣 ⠀ Here is a recipe for an easy-to-make handroll sushi, also known as temaki sushi: ⠀ Ingredients ⠀ -Cooked Sushi Rice: Use short grain sushi rice such as nishiki or koshihikari -Sushi Vinegar: Substitute with 2 tbsp rice wine vinegar, 1 tsp sugar and a pinch of salt if you don't have it. 🧂 -Nori Seaweed Sheets: Usually labelled as nori, yakinori or roasted seaweed sheets. -Fillings: You don't need sashimi-grade fish, but can instead use canned tuna, shredded chicken or even veggies as filling. Play around and be creative! 🐟 ⠀ Method ⠀ 1. Transfer cooked sushi rice to a wide, flat-bottomed dish. Pour the sushi vinegar over the cooked rice and mix gently with a flat rice paddle to avoid breaking any of the grains. Allow the rice to cool completely before serving. 🥢 ⠀ 2. Take up a sheet of nori and place it in your hand or on a plate. Top with a scoop of rice in the top left corner in a roughly triangular shape. ⠀ 3. Then layer with your chosen fillings. Fold the bottom left corner up and over the fillings, then continue to roll into a cone shape. ⠀ Enjoy making your handrolls and eating them together as a family! ⠀ #Recipes #SushiDay #Activities #ABATherapy
