That being said, the journey will keep going on. With the dawn of digital art, the biggest and most intimidating thing artists contend with is the almost infinite options now that the entire color wheel, undo, manipulation tools and more are unlocked and readily available. This can be so overwhelming that you'd probably want to quit and go back to traditional art where supplies were limited. Can you relate? If not, does this spark any ideas if you're having an art block? But with that being said, over the last few years, I decided to remove all the chaff of finding the best brushes and drown in digital paint. Monochromatic work and maybe a splash of singular color to brighten up the pieces. This allowed me to focus on perspective, composition, line and shape. And as you all may already know, I've gone back to colors in my recent works. Has it paid off? Some quick environment thumbnails from last night🌿 It's interesting to see the less is more process in effect. As a artist, It’s hard not to want to create a final piece out of every sketch, but I'm learning to be less precious about my designs and explore different ideas. Through this process, I've discovered that the more thumbnails I do, the better the final outcome. It's all about experimenting, pushing yourself out of your comfort zone and not trying not to spend to long on one drawing!
