🎩 Title: Freelance UX Architect 🎩 Start: Monday 20th January 🎩 Length: 3 months (great chance of long extension) 🎩 Client: Digital Agency 🎩 Day rate: £400 per day (maximum, Unchangeable) 🎩 IR35: Inside IR35 (The client has requested an Umbrella to be used, not Ltd) 🎩 Hybrid working: 5 days per week (Unchangeable) - 3 days a week in-house on Tuesday, Wednesday + Thursday (other 2 days will be remote) 🎩 Location: Central East London 🎩 Brief: - Working alongside an experienced UI designer.  - Collaborating with the Digital Experience team. - Leading planning sessions to deliver innovative ideas. - Develop frameworks for improving digital products:  - Vehicle sales, subscriptions, applications, + experiences.  - Shaping the digital elements of a 'Modern Luxury' vision.  - Occasionally host workshops, both remotely and in person. - You will present and develop innovative digital experiences. - Collaborating with Data and Analytics Optimisation teams. - Gathering business and customer requirements is essential. - Office365, solid in Figma for prototyping and using design systems. - Focus on direct-to-consumer eCommerce and brand development. - Creating (IA), navigation solutions, taxonomies, wireframes, + prototypes. - Help optimise eCommerce performance by applying behavioural science.  - Knowledge of Content Management System (CMS) architecture + data lit. - Ensuring accessibility + compliance standards across projects is essential. - Create documentation + blueprints for strategists, designers, + developers.  - Data-driven design, hypothesis creation, + personalisation = your approach. - Collaborate with teams (project management, creative), + tech development. 🎩 🌈

🚨 Stay Alert: UI/UX Job Scams Are Legal and Real! 🚨 If a company asks you to redesign or improve their actual product as part of a hiring task, stop and think—this could be a major red flag. Reputable companies typically assign mock projects or generalized tasks to evaluate your skills. But if they’re asking you to revamp their live product, it might be an attempt to snag your creative ideas for free. Think about it: why would they let you work on their core product without compensation? Your time, energy, and expertise are valuable—don’t give them away for nothing! I’ve personally encountered requests to work on SaaS product landing pages or similar assignments. While I’ve assured recruiters I could handle such tasks, I’ve never actually taken them on because I don’t believe in letting others define my worth. I trust in my skills and know the right opportunity will come on my terms. Remember, protecting your creative vision isn’t arrogance—it’s self-respect. Stay focused on your journey, and don’t let anyone exploit your talent. I want to see - “why” you design, - the “impact” you've made, - your “growth mindset” If you applied, expect an interview invite soon. But be prepared to go beyond showcasing your portfolio. Tell me about - Your process, - Your user research, - Your data-driven decisions. And a tip for everyone who sent a CV: Rethink those bullet points. It's cool you designed the next big thing, but what were the *results*? - Did you move the needle? - Did you improve user experience? If you say Yes, Then How do you know that? Show me the impact! It's good that you designed the heaven and earth like the Lord Almighty, but what's important in a CV is - *why* you designed and - what happened *after* your design. Include numbers, A/B test results, user feedback... If you didn't test your design, well, go back to work! 😉 PS: You’ll get more gigs freelance and otherwise 👍
