What if the key to managing change isn’t strategy or plans, but getting on another street corner? This idea comes from The Kaleel Jamison Consulting Group, Inc., and it’s one that’s stayed with me for years. It’s simple but profound: stand on one corner, and you see one version of the story. Move to another, and suddenly, you see something new. Neither is wrong, but neither gives you the full picture. But here’s what I’ve learned—it’s not just about perspective. It’s about taking action to create space for understanding. When you make time for listening, empathy, and genuine connection, change stops feeling chaotic. It starts making sense. And when that happens, incredible things follow: 🔹Disengagement transforms into energy. 🔹Complexity turns into clarity. 🔹And teams move forward together. I’m not here to offer AI-generated fluff or motivational buzzwords. Change work is human work. It’s about helping people feel safe, heard, and understood. It’s about creating spaces of psychosocial safety where trust can thrive. If you’re tired of change feeling performative or transactional, this episode is for you. In the final episode of our Change Series, Daniel Franco and I introduce The Game Changers Program: ▶️ A way to safely surface disengagement and turn it into real engagement. ▶️ How mental models shape reactions and drive human-centred change. ▶️ Real insights and practical results for leading meaningful transformation. If you’re curious how this works in action—no fluff, no buzzwords—check out the podcast. It’s been one of my favourite conversations, and I think it might just shift the way you see change. #ChangeManagement #HumanCentredChange #PsychosocialSafety #Engagement #GameChangers

I remember in our first podcast episode, Yurii Lazaruk said that community is the GLUE that holds everything together. A well-built and well-enabled community can connect all departments within a company to its users, driving their goals forward. The key here is effective cross-functional collaboration, aligning business goals with the community's efforts to achieve them. This is a key for long term community success and support on leadership level. In our new podcast episode, cross-functional collaboration is one of the key topics Max Rothery discusses with us. Max shares his approach to integrating community efforts seamlessly with sales, product, and marketing teams to boost overall performance and revenue. He also talks about getting buy-in and strategies for gaining executive support by demonstrating the tangible value that community initiatives bring to the table. And how understanding and aligning with the goals of different teams can transform community building from a "soft" activity into a critical driver of business success. Excited to share our latest episode of the Community Unlocked podcast with the incredible Max Rothery, VP of Community at Finimize! 🎧 Tune in to gain actionable insights on leveraging empathy to build, launch, and grow your community, and drive success across your organization! 📣 📣 New podcast episode! 📣📣 Your host, Matthew Pohl, talks with the CEO of 40 Strategy, Carl J. Cox. Carl's professional journey is a testament to the transformative power of strategic thinking. His career, which has spanned across various small to medium-sized businesses with revenues up to $100 million, is marked by a passion for guiding companies through pivotal growth phases. Carl's transition from a CFO to a consultant was fueled by his desire to tackle the unique challenges that come with scaling a business. At the heart of Carl's philosophy is the belief that strategic planning is not just a luxury for the corporate giants but a necessity for all businesses, regardless of size. His company, 40 Strategy, is built on the premise that a mere 2% of organizations dedicate the equivalent of 40 hours per year to strategic planning. Carl's mission is to elevate that number by helping businesses craft world-class strategic plans and execute them effectively.
