According to the latest European Commission's #DigitalDecade targets report, by 2030 the EU will not: 🚨 Ensure that 80% of citizens aged 16-74 have at least basic digital skills 🚨 Secure 20 million tech experts (expected to be 12) 🚨 Have 75% of its companies adopting cloud, big data, and #AI (at the current pace, it'll be 64%, 50, & 17%) That’s no way to become #aDigitalPowerhouse, but we have the recipe to fix it. Updating curricula to include digital literacy is a must. But as you mentioned in your report, only 11% of EU primary schools have high-speed Internet access. We face serious infrastructure challenges, and there's a big gap between rural and urban areas. We definitely need to address these issues in order to become a #DigitalPowerhouse.
