This week was the Digital Health Week. A week full of great collaboration and insights from the Organizations, but most importantly from the individuals who make Digital Health possible in the world and in particular in Africa and, it’s Africa is where some of the most important conferences took place, specifically in #Kenya (a country that love so much, and respectfully call Nyumbani). Unfortunately I couldn’t attend any of this events but in the background, as good Helthneer, I continued pushing for the advance of Digital Health in Africa and the world. Let’s continue building accessible tools and improving care. #DigitalHealth #ImprovingPeoplesLives #ucsf

It’s Clear: African’s Healthcare Future Depends On Bold Action. Just wrapped up three incredible days at the International Health Ministers Summit (IHMS) in Rwanda, where health leaders, policymakers, and experts converged to tackle Africa’s most pressing healthcare challenges and opportunities. My 3 major takeaways for African leaders. 1️⃣ Invest in Digital Health Transformation - The future of healthcare lies in technology. Artificial Intelligence (AI) has the power to revolutionize diagnostics, disease surveillance, and personalized care. By prioritizing digital health solutions, we can ensure equitable and efficient healthcare delivery across the continent. 2️⃣ Leverage Data-Driven, Localized Solutions - Africa’s health challenges demand African-based strategies. Solutions rooted in robust national data and aligned with national strategic plans will drive sustainable outcomes. 3️⃣ Strengthen Coordination Mechanisms - Enhanced collaboration at national and continental levels is critical for impactful healthcare delivery. Strong systems and partnerships will ensure we achieve tangible results. The summit emphasized the importance of bold, innovative actions to address health inequities. The time is now to embrace digital health, prioritize investments, and commit to collective action for a healthier and more resilient Africa. Let’s build a smarter, healthier future together! #DigitalHealth #AIForHealth #HealthEquity #AfricanDevelopment thanks Tom Coleman for making this happen extract from MAM
