At the Dubai Business Women Council (DBWC), our mission has always been to create opportunities for women to lead, grow, and thrive. One initiative we are particularly proud of is our partnership with #Oracle for the #sAIdaty program, an educational platform we launched to equip businesswomen with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in AI. Through this collaboration, we’re helping women in our community not only understand AI but also leverage it to drive change and innovation in their respective fields.   While progress is being made, women still represent only a small fraction of AI professionals globally. The ninth edition of the Knowledge Summit commenced in Dubai, gathering industry leaders, innovators, and pioneers to share insights on the knowledge sector and future skills. Held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Summit serves as a premier global platform to foster the exchange of ideas and amplify the role of knowledge in shaping the future. CEO of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation (MBRF), Jamal bin Huwaireb, emphasized the Summit's significance, stating, 'This year's theme, 'Future Skills and AI Economy,' aligns with the nation's efforts to cultivate a knowledge-based economy and harness AI's potential across diverse sectors.' The Global Knowledge Index (GKI) results were unveiled, with Sweden securing the top position, followed by Finland and Switzerland. The UAE attained the highest ranking among Arab countries. The Summit also honored the winners of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Award 2024 for their exceptional contributions to science, knowledge, and innovation.
