Organizations need to have a strong approach to evaluate domain practice and business consulting leaders. It is easy to attribute all success to Sales and Delivery leaders than understand those creating the impact, those creating the long term capabilities that differentiate a organization. We find many organizations stagnating such talent. Do you agree?

The good news is that we can learn how to elevate our leaders to improve the effectiveness of the groups they lead and of the organization overall. Personality type, world view, personal purpose. 2. Who are we? Group dynamics, emotional intelligence, team work. 3. Who benefits from us? Alignment to organizational mission, vision, and values. With this foundation, we can really dive into good coaching!

Great video and simple message in this post. To get the best for your business and its employees you have to appreciate what the employees expectations are and understand their needs (what makes them tick) and figure out (together) how these desires can be fulfilled. If you just give them instructions and rules to follow and expect them to come and do good work just because they get paid then you are going to be extremely disappointed, and most likely continue to blame everyone else for everything that’s not going well.

This one is hard for a lot of leaders to understand. Leaders work for their employees. That means you have to understand what your employees want at a deep level. You have to be constantly adapting to their needs and what they want from the organization.

Why is it that we are in 2024 and still need to talk about this? I work with so many leaders who really truly want to serve their people and be inspirational, coach-like leaders and yet every week I also speak to employees who are burnt out, unappreciated and disengaged. It seems leaders still need some insight, feedback and coaching so that when they connect with their teams and employees to have those valuable one-on-one conversations; that they pause, listen, intuit and don’t only consider what is best for themselves and the business, but also really consider what is best for their people. A focus on self and deliverables without enough focus on the individuals growth is one of the real blindspots that some leaders have. #wecandobetter #leadership #servantleadership #coaching #culture
