🎉 Celebrating Milestones and Growth: A Year in Review 🎉 As we approach the end of another year, it’s time to pause, reflect, and celebrate the milestones that have defined our journey! I’m thrilled to celebrate the culmination of a year’s work at Heroic! A huge thank you to Amy Port, Michael Port, Keeley Miller, Russell Ewing, Michael Hudson, Eli Pauley, the amazing Heroic team, and my phenomenal cohort, The Extras—you all have made this journey unforgettable. Thank you Jeremy Casupanan for your powerful testimonial. 💜 Much like writing a book or reaching any meaningful milestone, seeing my hard work come together in just a few moments is deeply fulfilling. This experience has left me with immense gratitude and pride while reminding me that true growth comes from committing to the process, embracing the messy middle, and continuously learning along the way. 💚 As we step into 2025, I’m more energized than ever to amplify the mission of self-advocacy and inspire innovation in organizations. Growth isn’t just about achieving goals—it’s about fostering creativity, resilience, and transformation each step of the way. 💛 #GrowthMindset #Speaker #Innovation #SelfAdvocacy #Learning _____________ 💜If we haven’t had a chance to connect yet, my name is Neelu and I help organizations unleash innovation by building psychologically safe cultures. 📚 As a self-advocacy champion, keynote speaker, and the author of "Be Your Own Cheerleader," I help professionals speak up for their ideas and their wellbeing, which drives creativity and innovation. 📣Living by the values of self-advocacy, I invite you to support my mission. 10 𝙔𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙨 𝙖𝙩 𝙄𝙉𝘾 𝙄𝙣𝙣𝙤𝙫𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝘾𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧 – 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘾𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜! 🌟 A few days ago, I celebrated my 10-year anniversary with INC Innovation Center at our annual Christmas party. It’s hard to believe how time has flown, but looking back, I’m filled with gratitude for the amazing journey so far. From day one, I’ve been part of an incredible group we lovingly call “Team Impact,” and I can honestly say this team has lived up to its name—pushing boundaries, supporting each other, and making every challenge worth tackling. And all that despite the fact that we of course have not always been agreeing on everything. In the video below, you’ll see my dear colleague Anne Loos and me recreating the famous Dirty Dancing lift in slow motion. While it was certainly a fun highlight of the evening, it’s also a perfect symbol of what makes Team Impact so special: we lift each other up in good times, and carry one another through the tougher moments. With an economic slowdown likely on the horizon, this unity will be more important than ever. I’m confident that with a supportive team like ours, we can continue to celebrate the wins and shoulder the challenges, together. I feel fortunate to have experienced such a professionally and personally rewarding decade here. I’m already looking forward to the next 10 years of growth, innovation, and—most importantly—unwavering teamwork. Here are three ways we can keep strengthening and supporting each other in the coming year: 💬 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙤𝙥𝙚𝙣𝙡𝙮 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙤𝙛𝙩𝙚𝙣: Share successes, concerns, and ideas early—transparency fosters trust. 🏆 𝘾𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙗𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙨𝙢𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙬𝙞𝙣𝙨: Every step forward is worth acknowledging, and this positive momentum fuels resilience. 🤝 𝙊𝙛𝙛𝙚𝙧 𝙝𝙚𝙡𝙥 𝙗𝙚𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙚 𝙞𝙩’𝙨 𝙖𝙨𝙠𝙚𝙙 𝙛𝙤𝙧: Proactive support can turn a challenging situation into a shared growth journey. Thank you, #TeamImpact, for making the last 10 years improving, growing, mind-blowing… and above all: unforgettable. I’m excited for everything the next decade will bring—together, we’ll keep rising stronger! Adventcalender no. 23 #Türchen23 #Team #Growth #Resilience

Monday Minute or 5 - What are You Celebrating? I recently consumed the book, Winning, by Tim Grover There was a portion in the book where he mentioned New Year’s, and what are people actually celebrating. It got me thinking and it’s changing my mindset for what I’m gonna be celebrating this week. Most people celebrate the new year. The reality is nothing is even happened to celebrate yet. Instead, I am focusing on celebrating 2024. Not only was it an incredible year, but it really allows me the mental space to review it. Look at areas of growth and look at areas of potential growth. Don’t get me wrong. I will definitely be welcoming 2025 with open arms. However, I wanna make sure the celebration is for things that I’ve already happened. Not for things that haven’t happened yet. There’s a difference in the way that we view that and the work that needs to be put in to make sure we have something to celebrate a year from now. So my question to you as we finish out 2024 is what are you celebrating this week? I encourage you to celebrate this last year, even if it was a hard one. And look at opportunities and look at areas to make 2025 better. #goals #sales #business #mondayminuteor5 #leadership #onpurpose #customerengagement #customerexperience #changetheworld #leadwithinfluence #relationshipsmatter #purpose #mondaymotivation #growthmindset #servantleadership #letsgrow #impact #legacy #discomfort #mindshift #perspective #generousity #limitsdontexist #growthroughitmindset #happinesswins #meaningfulwork #dothehardwork

October brought an unexpected gift to our firm – three new team members. I'll be honest, I've been feeling a bit deflated lately. The daily grind, the constant challenges of running a business – they can wear you down. But something magical happened when these new faces joined us: • Fresh energy filled our office • New perspectives sparked creativity • Enthusiasm became contagious • Our team's dynamics shifted positively It's easy to get caught up in the stress of growth – new training, adjusting workflows, integrating personalities. But I'm reminded of the importance of celebrating wins, no matter how small. This expansion isn't just about numbers. It's about: 1. Shared goals and collaborative spirit 2. Diverse ideas leading to innovation 3. Renewed motivation for the entire team 4. A reminder of why we started this journey Yes, there will always be stress in business. But these moments of growth and renewal? They're what make it all worthwhile. How do you reinvigorate your passion for your work? How has team growth impacted your outlook?

At our team retreat last week, we dedicated time to something important, but often overlooked: gratitude. We engaged in a heartwarming exercise where each team member wrote appreciations for their colleagues on individual sheets of paper. Every person received a sheet filled with compliments and well wishes. This exercise isn’t new to us--we did it a few years ago. However, several team members requested that we do it again this year so we did. In our experience, this simple hour-long endeavor boosts morale, strengthens the bonds between team members, and most importantly, reminds us of the unique strengths and contributions each of us brings to the Evolve table. Here's why I believe in building a team culture around gratitude: Enhanced Collaboration: Recognizing and appreciating each other's efforts creates a supportive environment where collaboration thrives. Increased Motivation: Feeling valued and appreciated boosts individual motivation and engagement. Stronger Relationships: Gratitude nurtures trust and connection which is ESSENTIAL for a high-functioning team. Positive Work Environment: A culture of gratitude makes coming to work more joyful. Isn’t that what we all want from our work? I'm incredibly proud to be part of a team that values and practices gratitude. Check out my appreciation sheet and think about adding this fun activity to your next team meeting! #teambuilding #appreciation #lovemyjob

Good tiiiiimes! Team hangs. 📸 Staying true to who we are and our values has helped us create a company culture we're beyond proud of. It makes coming to work a joy. Did you know that our six core values were developed by our team collective? Pretty cool, huh?! We think that’s one of the reasons why they’re so powerful and not just a bunch of nice words written on a wall. They’re the oxygen in our lungs and the glue that affixes us together. 😉 Last week's team hang saw us living one of our favourite values. It’s to….. 🙌🙌🙌 HAVE A GOOD TIME We like to have fun. Lots of it. We also work hard. And we don't like to compromise one for the other. We enjoy time off when we need it, and we like our business meetings and interviews to feel less like 'work' and more like a chat with a good mate. To us, a day without laughter is a day wasted. It makes tough days easier and good days better. 🙌🙌🙌 When we’re relaxed and having a good time together, we’re in our fixie flow. This state naturally inspires us to take a breath and to rethink what's already been done and figure out how we can do things better for YOU, our wonderful customers and partners and of course, each other. ❤️ What are your company's core values? Are you aligned with them? If you’d like to read our other core values, head over to our 'Life at affix' page for a snapshot 👉 https://lnkd.in/emGTRR8n #Teamfunday #values #cultureadd
