How photochemistry could help treat cancer and acne with the same molecule? 👩🏻🔬 Learn more in my video explaining my research on alkenes and isomerization in the group of Prof. Ryan Gilmour. This video was realized as part of the Women in Research program during my Post-doc. If you like it, feel free to give it a 5 star review! ⭐️ Special thanks to the WiRe - Women in Research Team!
Cast your vote in our second #WiRe Research Video Contest! https://lnkd.in/eEcBw8pU If you've been following us for a while, you might remember last year's #WiRe Research Video Contest, where we showcased videos created by each of our fellows highlighting their postdoctoral research at the Universität Münster. 🔬 This year, we're excited to announce the return of the contest with a new batch of videos from the 2023 cohort, and we need your input! Take a look at all the videos when clicking the link below and cast your vote for your favorites. The voting period runs until April 21 🎉 https://lnkd.in/eEcBw8pU To kick off the contest, we're featuring individual videos on our LinkedIn channel throughout the duration of the competition. Starting us off is the video from Dr Amélia Messara! Dive into the fascinating world of chemistry as she discusses her research on alkenes and isomerization that she conducts in the lab of Prof Ryan Gilmour. 🧪📝 Don't miss out on this opportunity to support our fellows and learn about cutting-edge research! 🧬 #wire #wireresearchvideo #chemistry #alkenes #sciencecommunication #sciencevideo #researchcommunication

Publishing a research paper is a significant achievement, especially for B.Tech students, as it is not easy to balance their studies with research work. However, my students Anushka Dashputra, Yashasvi Therkar, Atharva Balpande, and Nikhil Khanwani worked hard with dedication and overcame challenges to successfully publish their B.Tech project work in the Journal of Molecular Liquids (Impact Factor: 5.3). Congratulations to them on this outstanding achievement! Click the link to read/download the full article: https://lnkd.in/e_XXax3n
