I began celebrating my 3 years with Ready Player Me last week, and I can't help but feel excited about this week because IT'S THE CELEBRATION WEEK! Fun fact: I actually have two anniversaries with RPM, but let's save that story for another time or maybe in September 🐺. I call my June 10th anniversary "Banana Shirt Day." Why? Well, it all started when I had my first call with Haver and Kaspar to discuss a partnership. As soon as I joined the call, I heard Kaspar jokingly ask Haver, "What kind of banana shirt are you wearing?" The rest is history. This playful vibe, combined with smart, caring people hungry to make an impact, perfectly captures the environment here. Spoiler alert: Haver confirmed there were no bananas on the shirt 🍌😂. One thing that is part of our celebrations is my homemade potato salad 🥔. It's a tradition I can't quite pinpoint when it started, but the team seems to love it. My love for the team and making potato salad makes the hours of chopping worth it, and it's unreal how fast it disappears. Some may even say, "Next time, we need more." During this year's WinterWeek, I chopped and prepared 12kg of it, and with Summerfest around the corner, you will still have time to enjoy this tradition 😉. We're growing the team, so check out our careers page (link in the comments). How do you celebrate your work anniversaries? And what's with potato salad 😄? Everyone in Estonia seems to have their own recipe!

✨ Reflecting on Growth Collective 2024 – A Holiday Party to Remember ✨ Last year, our team at Growth Collective was a scrappy group of 4 passionate individuals. This year, as we gathered for our 2nd-ever holiday party, I was humbled to celebrate with a team that has grown to 14 incredible people – 10 of whom showed up to join the festivities. It's a moment that made me pause and reflect on the journey we’ve been on. Growth isn’t just about the numbers or client wins (though we’re proud of those, too!). It’s about the people. The talented, driven, and creative minds who believe in what we’re building and contribute their best every day. This holiday party wasn’t just a celebration of the season – it was a celebration of collaboration, resilience, and the shared vision we all have to help our clients thrive. To our team: thank you for your hard work, humor, and heart. To our clients and future partners: this is the team that makes the magic happen. We’re more ready than ever to help brands grow smarter, faster, and with greater creativity. Check out the reel we made – because at Growth Collective, we don’t just work hard; we know how to have fun doing it. 🎉 Here’s to continued growth in 2025 and beyond. Let’s make it happen together. #TeamGrowthCollective #HolidayParty2024 #AgencyLife #GrowthMindset Luis Morales Rachel Guest Megan Hawley Prem Thakur Kris Galang Danielle Rainville Leticia Kezen Bernardo Lamers Renan Comin 🏳️🌈 Carolina Dantas Luiza Lobo

🎄 How does Christmas change when you go from employee to boss? 🎅 Let’s unwrap the journey together! 🎁✨ When you’re an employee, Christmas is a magical pause—a chance to soak in the festivities, exchange Secret Santa gifts, and reflect on the year’s achievements with your team. It’s about the joy of being part of something bigger, celebrating milestones together, and feeling valued as a contributor. But when you become a boss, Christmas takes on a different meaning. It’s no longer just about celebrating; it’s about creating moments that matter. You’re not just thinking about your own festivities—you’re thinking about your team’s happiness, their recognition, and their sense of belonging. It’s about crafting a workplace where every team member feels appreciated and motivated to take on the new year with enthusiasm. You’re juggling budgets for bonuses, planning thoughtful gestures, and ensuring everyone goes home feeling seen and valued. As a boss, the joy of Christmas comes from giving—creating an atmosphere of warmth, gratitude, and camaraderie that inspires your team to thrive. It’s about realizing that leadership isn’t just about results; it’s about relationships. So this Christmas, whether you’re an employee or a boss, the spirit remains the same: spreading joy, fostering connections, and being grateful for the people who make your journey worthwhile. 🎁 Here’s to celebrating growth, gratitude, and the gift of teamwork. #MerryChristmas #Leadership #Teamwork #Gratitude #GrowthJourney #Christmas2024 #santaclaus #EvolvewithVriinC #decembertoremember #winternights

Are you genuinely excited for your work’s Christmas party!? Will it be a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the year’s successes, take a moment to be grateful for all the challenges overcome, and bond with your colleagues? Delicious food, loads of laughs...and some surprisingly interesting non-business convo. Sounds good! 🍻 🥂 🎉 Or....is this sounding more familiar…. Already planning how long you’re going to stick it out…before you reel off your well rehearsed excuse to make an early exit? Can’t leave the dog too long on it’s own eh (you don’t even own a dog) 🤔 Filled with anxiety about whether you’ll get stuck next to the ‘bore’ at the Xmas meal...or that colleague that’s been passively aggressively stitching you up all year? Worried you might drink too much……and some horrible home-truths start spilling out!? Visualising that cathartic moment when you finally let the business owners know the REAL level of disdain you have for their ideas, strategy and general persona…. If you were running the business, you’d show them! 💪 If you are counting down the days until the work’s Christmas with excitement…..that’s just another good sign you’re working with the right people (or you’re an alcoholic). Maybe you’re an introvert, or you have other interests in your spare time, and that’s absolutely fine too… …but if you normally LOVE (or even just like) going out, partying, wining, dining, dancing, chin-wagging, just NOT with your work colleagues… …maybe it’s time to consider some of the new job opportunities I’m working on! Don’t wait until January, give me a shout and let's see if we can upgrade next year's Xmas party experience. owen@tamalo.co.uk #hvacr #BMS #cooling #heating #engineering #sales #management #happinessmatters #recruitment

Christmas Adventures (as my son calls them) have officially started! Yesterday, we went to Ely Cathedral’s Christmas Fair with my folks, and of course, we had our traditional ride on the carousel.🎠 This year, he was feeling brave and hopped on a horse with me—a first! It got me reflecting… leadership can feel a lot like being on a carousel sometimes. You’re spinning with purpose (most of the time), but it’s easy to get caught up in the motion and lose sight of where you’re heading. Here’s what that ride reminded me about leadership: 1️⃣ Step off to reflect—regularly. It’s fundamental to pause the ride, even briefly, to check in with yourself, your team, and your direction. Reflection isn’t about quitting; it’s about gaining clarity so you can rejoin with purpose. Those regular pauses keep the journey meaningful and heading in the right direction. 2️⃣ Look for the joy (yes, even in the ups and downs). Leadership can be demanding, but there’s joy to be found if you’re willing to look for it. Celebrate the small wins, appreciate the progress, and take pride in the moments where you and your team shine—even if the ride is bumpy. If you can’t find joy, what needs to change? 3️⃣ Stay centered. Carousels spin because they’re fixed at the center, and leadership is no different. Your values, vision and mindset are fundamental. They are the handrail—the thing you hold on to when everything feels like it’s spinning too fast. They keep you grounded, focused, and moving with purpose. Here’s the thing: when I was leading a legal team, I wasn’t properly centered in my vision. I wasn’t holding on to my handrail. And the spinning got so bad, it ended in burnout. It took time to rebuild and refocus, but that experience taught me how vital it is to stay anchored in what matters most. Leadership isn’t about avoiding the spinning—it’s about steering through it. So, how do you stay centered as a leader? How do you help your team pause, reflect, and find joy in their work? Let me know in the comments—I’d love to hear your thoughts. [video of and adult and child (us) smiling and laughing and enjoying a large traditional carousel ride. You can see the horses moving up and down, round and round and glimpses of the surrounding area] . . . #highperformance #law #legal #stressless #leadershipisacaurousel #burnout #mentalhealth
