Pulsar Helium Inc.: A Pioneering Force in the Helium Industry with High-Concentration Discoveries In this presentation, Pulsar Helium Inc. (TSXV:PLSR) (OTCQB: PSRHF) CEO Thomas Abraham-James provides a comprehensive overview of the company’s innovative approach to helium exploration and production. As a leader in developing helium-specific gas fields, Pulsar Helium is addressing the global helium shortage by focusing on projects where helium is the primary economic driver, rather than a by-product of hydrocarbons. Abraham-James highlights significant discoveries, such as the Topaz Project in Minnesota, which holds the highest concentration helium find in North America, and discusses the strategic importance of domestic helium production for technology and industry. #PulsarHelium #Pulsar #TSXV #OTC #Helium #Gas #CriticalMinerals ##Jetstream1 #MRI #FibreOptic #Semiconductors #Aerospace #FusionEnergy #Investing

Liquid #Helium is predominantly used to cool superconducting magnets, for example in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy (NMR) and various research applications, including particle accelerators. #BUSE Gases are on hand to support your business whatever the sector, as we have a solution for you. Balloon gas The most common application of helium is the use as a buoyancy gas for balloons and airships. Hospital care Helium is used by inhalation for respiratory diseases, or locally for cryoablation. It is also a component of inhaled gaseous mixtures for pulmonary function tests. Laboratories Helium is the most commonly used carrier gas in gas chromatography. Metal fabrication Helium is used in laser welding and arc welding. Pharma & Biotech Helium is used for leak tests on process equipment. Humans have put magnets to use for more than 2,500 years. Fast forward to today: our team is hard at work building three types of magnets that’ll make fusion energy possible. One type is the PF (poloidal field) magnets for SPARC — our innovative fusion machine. These crucial magnet components help shape and control plasma during the fusion process. It’s a small piece of the larger power plants that will bring us commercial fusion in the 2030s. #FusionEnergy #EnergyTransition

interesting posts by Brent Oster about quench protection of stored 60 GigaJoules, or around 12 Tons of TNT worth of energy in gigantic superconducting fusion magnet systems of ITER - how to protect the magnet from quench faulting conditions is critical to the final delivery of fusion energy. "But, if that (liquid helium) cooling fails, the superconductor heats up, quenches, and becomes a normal conductor, and can no longer carry that enormous current. With 160,000 amps suddenly meeting resistance, the coil rapidly vaporizes, and causes a meltdown of the other coils, with a total energy release of 12 tons of TNT. This is very undesirable, especially when those coils are wrapped around a highly radioactive shield that also vaporizes and is expelled into the atmosphere. There are fault-detection systems, but it takes a while to dissipate that amount of energy safely, and there may not be enough time to react quickly enough in the event of a catastrophic magnet coil failure." https://lnkd.in/eekemmhh
If we develop working fusion power plants, how much cheaper will energy be?
