I wanted to say that the DMEC Podcast on the Virtual Mental health was powerful! Heather you facilitated another great podcast. Loved it! 👏👏👏 CEO-Byron, Kirstin, and Jess discussed highlights that really helped practitioners to see employers MUST play a robust and visible role. Practitioners should be includive in the "business" of the organization and with a holistic approach. Also, absence and disability practitioners must have a seat at the table and not a folding chair. The value we bring to the culture, retaining employees, and the bottom-line financially cannot be ignored. The statistics and resources provided by Byron were astounding. Over 30 resources. Roadmap navigation tips on those impacted by mental health and what to do. Another shared point that was expounded on was employees leaving the workforce and what we need to amplify.. One eye opener for me, I didn't connect the dots until they spoke on it, how am employee's boss and spose/significant other, contributes to the mental health of the employee on the same level. That was deep. This is just a tad of information! There is so much covered. They dropped some knowledge and you need to listen up. Great job DMEC.
