How do you stay organized during the week? I live by my calendar. I try to plan some rough meal ideas, see where I can multitask some things, or even better ask for help on some tasks. What do you do? TechSavvyNurse #NurseTechTitan #FridayVibes #WeekendReady #TGIF #FridayFeels #NurseLife

I'm doing something new and I'm excited to share! But first some backstory... When I was brand new to the field, I quickly learned how often mealtime and feeding challenges impacted the families I worked with and set out to learn as much as I could to support the children I worked with. I've made lots of mistakes when it comes to feeding support, often by over-focusing on the behavior side of things or applying "one size fits all" solutions. One of the most important lessons I have learned is the complexity of mealtime and feeding, and the importance of considering context of mealtime, including culture, values, and individual history, among others. I've learned from interdisciplinary teams to evolve the way I think about mealtime and feeding support, and want to help ABA providers do the same! In the last decade or so, I've worked with early learning settings on developing mealtime support programs, provided family consultation, and written a book (coming out this Fall!). However, specific support for ABA providers has been missing. I'm excited to pivot to provide this support now! If you're unsure of the feeding support you are providing, want to stop having to refer out to programs with long waitlists, want to build a program, or just want some additional training, I'm here to help! Please check out my site and connect if this fits what your agency needs!

As millions of Americans gear up for Thanksgiving gatherings, MADD is reminding everyone to plan ahead and make safety a priority. With both holiday #travel and impaired driving on the rise, #Thanksgiving is one of the busiest and most dangerous times to be on the road. To keep the season joyous, it’s essential to arrange a safe ride home before the festivities begin. Whether it’s designating a sober driver, using a rideshare, or opting for public transportation, making the safe choice has never been easier. MADD is also encouraging Thanksgiving hosts to play an active role in keeping everyone safe. By helping guests plan a safe way home or offering them a place to stay, hosts can significantly reduce the risk of impaired driving crashes and make this holiday season safer for all. #ImpairedDrivingEndsHere
