"Amen, I say to you, whatever you did for one of these least brothers of mine, you did for me." ~Matthew 25:40 This Christmas, we want to take a moment to thank you for your incredible support of Dismas Ministry this year. Your generosity has brought hope and light to so many who often feel forgotten. You have helped remind the incarcerated of their dignity and God's unending love. You helped to "see" the person behind the bars. The support we have received has allowed us to provide spiritual resources, study courses, and messages of encouragement to men and women in custody, letting them know they are not alone. As we reflect on this past year, we are truly grateful for the kindness and the impact it has made. Together, we are living out the Gospel and sharing Christ’s message of hope and renewal. As we prepare for the year ahead, your continued generosity ensures that we can keep answering the call to serve those in need. Thank you for being an essential part of this mission. Wishing you and your loved ones a blessed Christmas and a New Year filled with peace, hope, and grace. Warmest regards, Juliann Joerres, Executive Director, and The Dismas Ministry Team" #HopeBehindBars #DismasMinistry #ChristmasHope #SeeThePerson #SpiritualSupport #IncarceratedDignity #FaithInAction #RenewalSeason #GiveBackChristmas #PrisonMinistryImpact

📖 Serve One Another 🤲 ❓ How are you embodying the call to serve others in your daily life? 🤔 Serving others is not just a duty but a profound expression of Christ's love through us. It reflects our commitment to living as He did, not for ourselves but for the greater good of the community. 👐 "For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another" (Galatians 5:13). Our freedom in Christ is not an excuse for self-indulgence, but a mandate to love and serve others, enriching their lives and our own. 🦶 "For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many" (Mark 10:45). Jesus set the ultimate example of service that goes beyond convenience to sacrificial love, inspiring us to give generously of ourselves. 🎁 "As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace" (1 Peter 4:10). We are equipped with unique talents and gifts not for personal glory but to benefit others, stewarding God’s grace in tangible ways. 🙏 Pray for the heart of a servant, one that mirrors Jesus' own. Ask God to reveal opportunities to serve those around you and to give you the strength and humility to act on them. 👣 Take a step today to serve someone in your community. Whether it's volunteering, helping a neighbor, or simply offering a listening ear, let your actions be a testament to God’s love. #ServeOneAnother #FaithOverFear #SchoolAlive

The Apostle Peter reminds us to embrace our unique talents and abilities God has bestowed upon each of us. These gifts are not merely for our benefit but are meant to be used in service to others. Think about our variety of gifts within our reach —hospitality, teaching, encouraging, creating, or even just being a good listener. Every act of kindness, no matter how small, is a way to honor God and bless those around us. When we share our gifts, we demonstrate God's grace, spreading His love and light to everyone we encounter. Serving others can take many forms. It might be offering a listening ear to someone in need, volunteering your time and skills to a dear cause, or simply providing support and encouragement to friends and family. Your unique contributions make a significant difference in the lives of others and in the Kingdom. #christianliving #wealthmanagement #bible

🕊️ How to Meaningfully Observe Good Friday 🕊️ Let's take a moment to reflect on the significance of this solemn day and consider how we can observe it in a way that honors its profound meaning. Here are three meaningful ways to commemorate Good Friday: 1️⃣ Pray - Join in prayer services or dedicate a quiet moment of prayerful silence to honor the hours of Christ's crucifixion. This is especially impactful between noon and 3 P.M., mirroring the time of this pivotal event. 2️⃣ Fast - Fasting is a traditional observance for many on Good Friday, especially within the Catholic Church. It's a way to connect more deeply with the sacrifices made and to reflect on our own spiritual journey. 3️⃣ Volunteer - Embrace the spirit of giving by helping those in need. Whether it's through your church or local community efforts, volunteering is a beautiful way to live out the teachings of Jesus on this significant day.
