The ACT EXPO was great this year. I like the change of pace between Anaheim and Vegas for the event. Always love catching up and talking all things infrastructure and true high power charging with the MEGAWATT MAN himself Victor Atlasman . What’s amazing about the industry is the amount of collaboration that most people and groups are open to. As an example, I was all over the floor at this show and what was awesome to see is how many people were all getting together in groups to collaborate on initiatives and technology. What’s really impressive is the heavy duty charging locations that Victor is helping spearhead for WattEV, Inc. for the future and the service they’re offering to help bring the trucking industry to where it needs to be going if it’s going to succeed in the electrification space. Was also great talking with Salim Youssefzadeh on the vision of the company and the latest opening of their WattEV site in Bakersfield, CA. They’re team is doing some amazing work in infrastructure charging and truck as a service. If you ever get a chance to chat with Victor, you’ll realize he not only possesss the enthusiasm and knowledge on the megawatt charging scale side but also the interconnect and utility side of how it all works and can work better and more efficiently for the future. I think the biggest positive aspect of this event that makes me love the industry is that we’re all pushing towards a common goal to make humanity better together. Have said it many times but I’ll say it again.
