Ever since my Co-Founders and I started The Autoimmune Alliance, we have had an attitude focused on protecting and defending people like my mother -- people with autoimmune diseases. This means support groups. This means raising awareness. This means working with autoimmune children with our AutoAware program. And it means pushing for political solutions with our political wing Double U Triple A -- whether that means more research or better workplace protections. All of these things cost money.
