Just attended a great webinar hosted by Dr Stuart Desson and Mireille Watababe-Handover from Lumina Learning surrounding women in leadership and the role that empathy, and being more people focused, can play in leadership. It was fascinating to hear from experts in the field and their experiences, as well as how the 24 qualities, specifically come in to play. #luminalearning#leadership#empathy

I highly recommend this program to anyone who would like to explore the idea of leadership with other professional women. This program provided me with the opportunity to examine my core values, strengths and leadership skills and define how I want to use them both personally and professionally in my leadership development. #womensleadership

The Chronicle spoke with three foundation presidents — DeAngela B. of the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, Toya Fick of Meyer Memorial Trust, and Kara Inae Carlisle of The Ford Family Foundation — to hear their thoughts. Women leaders often encounter unique challenges and standards that have nothing to do with their qualifications. Despite this, Americans seem accustomed to holding women in leadership to nearly impossible expectations. This doesn't reflect our true strength. It's time for us to redefine leadership by focusing on the substance and sustenance it brings. How can we work together to make this change and create a better, more inclusive future? https://lnkd.in/eYtNKUdQ
