Businesses still have a lot of work to do to create truly diverse and inclusive environments, and that is particularly true of the investment and savings industry, which remains quite traditional in terms of the talented attracts and develops. The Diversity Project is a cross company initiative designed to accelerate change. We have over 100 members all committed to championing diverse talent so we can deliver the best possible outcomes for our clients. Reflect the society we serve. And create more sustainable businesses. Our members, partners and ambassadors all work together. Amplifying change through collaboration is an important aspect of the diversity projects work. We help organisations and individuals through a peer group network where firms can share what works through partnerships with specialist organizations. By raising awareness and creating programs where there are gaps. For example, we offer a skills workshop for students to learn the skills needed to apply for roles in our industry. And we've recently launched the Pathway program to help develop female fund managers. So the diversity project encourages participation from across the whole industry. Addresses diversity in its broader sense and for every stage in the career journey, and works collaboratively with other diversity programs. In 2021, we set five year targets focusing on social mobility. Gender. And ethnicity? These aim to drive measurable progress and improve the industry for everyone, and we join our efforts together through themes in 2023. These are measurement and accountability, intersectionality, including intergenerational perspectives, and adapting to new ways of working. These seams run through all our work helping create impact.
