I can't process this right now. Recently I read about this manager who proved his own company’s system was auto-rejecting all candidates, including himself! And then after finding out, he has fired the entire HR team. I had an idea that about 30% of resumes never make it to the manager, but this news is even more surprising. Here's how can you can stand out and increase your chances: → Connect with hiring managers on LinkedIn and have a follow up routine. → If possible, visit the office and drop off your resume. → Personalize your resume for each role. Don't just wait. Take action right now. #marketing #ads #hiring #resumes #content

The latest hiring company move that had me rolling my eyes: companies who put misleading checkboxes under personal info fields and wording them so they seem mandatory. " 🔲 I consent to the above company send me promotional emails and messages." I'm pretty familiar with how these types of forms work and was curious if it'd go through without me checking the boxes....surprise dear reader, it did. Don't do that to prospective staff! They're already tired from all the hoops you're making them jump through just to submit their resume. Don't pile on the pressure by making it seem like they "have" to get your messages to apply. They don't. The checkboxes don't have anything to do with the hiring process, so just stop.

We Are Hiring! I've recently posted several job openings and have noticed some recurring issues with applications. ❎Many applicants do not read the job descriptions before applying. ❎Approximately 65% of the resumes/CVs received are substandard and not ATS-friendly. ❎Despite the jobs being on-site, we receive applications from individuals in different countries. As professionals, please take the time to: ✅Read the job description to determine if you are a suitable fit. ✅Ensure your resume aligns with the job requirements. ✅Research the company's background before applying. Avoid these common mistakes to increase your chances of securing the job. Let's strive for professionalism in our job applications! #hiring #nebularads #hiringissues #marketingagency #socialmediagency

💥 New Life to Newsletters💥 👉🏻 now, let’s talk about newsletters - I bet your eyes are starting to roll now! 😁 ❓Have you received newsletters about active roles? ❓Does that make sense to you? ❓Have you noticed the same role you interviewed for popping up again? ❓Have we provided constructive feedback to help you improve the last time you applied for it? ⚠️If not, what are we really doing here? It feels like we’re just going around in circles. 👉🏻Let’s change that! We can include suggestions for improvement, turning these newsletters into valuable resources. They could help candidates prepare, refine their skills, and get ready for the roles they aspire to. Instead of endlessly searching for new candidates each time a position opens, let’s educate and empower our candidates to succeed! 🙏🏻Together, we can create a more meaningful and engaging hiring experience.

FAQ: Why work with a recruiter over just applying to a job? We are... 👍 Advocating for your best interests from the initial point of contact with an employer you're excited about 👍Providing visibility to additional jobs you weren't aware of 👍 Ensuring transparency on pay range and expectations of a potential employer 👍 Leveraging strong relationships with hiring managers so that your resume gets eyes on it (instead of wondering if/when your resume was viewed and if/when you'll hear back) 👍 Understanding your search extends beyond just matching a job description! In my candidate calls, we'll discuss what's important to YOU (team culture, room for growth, commute parameters, etc) so that you can pursue roles that are a holistic match for you. ...the list goes on but I'll stop rambling 😊 Ready to start a conversation? ⚡️You are being lied to!⚡️ Happy Friday, btw😁.... Seriously though, if you come across a service/ person, who guarantees to write you a resume with keywords that will beat the ATS. ➡️YOU ARE BEING LIED TO. PERIODT.⬅️ If you send a recruiter/ ATS a resume that is filled with only keywords & you don't focus on your actual experience, it will get rejected. ATS are NOT the gatekeepers that these people have made them to be. Here's an example: wrong approach, listing keywords and skills.🤨 " Results- driven sales leader with career long of building strategic relationships. Ability to manage complex projects with long-term results." - Decision Making - Sales & Negotiations - Conflict Resolution - Data Driven Good Approach (actually explaining your experience) " Over 10 years of progressive experience exceeding goals by over 30% in the SaaS market. Built and led top performig remote teams of 20 + globally." On a side note, I've had clients come to with these, so called beatable ATS resumes and frankly, they have been some of the worst that have come across my desk. The content has a bunch of key-words, saying nothing relevant. For more clear and concise details on how to tell your unique story that reflects your value. Please join the Resume Workshop,I'm doing starting next Thursday, (3) sessions for 45 minutes going over details of how to show- case your experience, words/ verbiage to use, Not to use, formatting, ATS, and other referable resources to better your search. The last day will be for Q&A! If you're tired of not getting the results you need, please join us😊 Here's the link to the Workshop.⬇️ I'm allowing a limited number of attendees as I want to ensure, everyone receives the attention needed☺️. I would suggest to get your Ticket , Asap! https://lnkd.in/grduNAYe ⚡️Tickets are ONLY $45.00 for all Three Sessions/Days 😁⚡️ #resumeworkshop #careercoach #standoutresume #showcaseyourvalue #resume #confidencebuilding

Hiring the Right Attitude Working alongside people who bring more than just skills to the table – they bring the right attitude. You may not have experience. You may be stepping into a role where everything feels new and unfamiliar. Scary isn’t to be out of our comfort zone? But what matters most is our willingness to learn, to ask questions, to make mistakes, and to improve. In my experience, working individuals/colleagues with the right mindset can outshine those with years of experience. They’re open, adaptable, and driven to become the best at what they do. #AttitudeOverExperience #GrowthMindset #ContinuousLearning
Founder helping you level up⚡️Follow for Careers & Work Culture insights⚡️Lawyer turned Recruiter | Ranked #1 Female Creator in Singapore 🇸🇬
I hired someone who was retrenched. She’d never done the job before. Here’s why: - She shared our values. - She had the right attitude. At the end of the interview, she asked, “Is it okay I don’t have legal recruitment experience?” I smiled and said, “When I started, I didn’t have any legal recruitment experience either. Someone took a chance on me—and look where I am now. I'm ready to take a chance on you.” Here’s what I’ve learned after years of hiring: Chasing the 'perfect resume' is a waste of time. You don’t need a flawless background. You need someone with the right attitude. Resumes don’t work. People do. During interviews, forget the resume. Have a real conversation. Instead of what you’ve done, let’s talk about who you are. Attitude trumps experience. Every. Single. Time. -- Share this post if you agree! ♻️. And follow Shulin Lee for more insights. P.S. We are hiring! DM me if you're interested.
