Last day of the PSMJ conference in Austin. Arianna and I learned a lot to bring back to the team. Met Arianna in person for the first time after 18 months of working together at DMA. Great to finally meet her in person; she has a great sense of humor.

A cleaner illustration of the R-E-S-P-O-N-S-E framework idea I've been playing around with regarding study design in football (particularly when trying to observe dose-response relationships. An ambitious thought experiment no doubt! The goal is not to create the perfect study..but to think deeply during study design about the complexity of the stimulus-response relationship and at least to have thought about all potential impacts.

Scouting Report: Akeem Dent, CB, Florida State The tape doesn't lie on Dent - he's got elite length and fluidity for the CB position. Shows impressive mirror skills and clicks and closes with excellent burst to stay hip-to-hip vertically. Flashes the ability to get physical and reroute at the LOS. Highly competitive in 50/50 ball situations. Areas for growth: Can be overaggressive at times and get caught peeking in the backfield. Needs to consistently maintain discipline in his backpedal. Overall athleticism is very good but not truly elite. Dent has starting-caliber upside as a press-man CB at the next level. With some technique refinement, his combination of size, length, and competitiveness could make him a coveted prospect come draft day. #NFL #NFLdraft
