In honor of #NationalTattooDay, here's what you need to know about tattoos + blood donation. 1) There's no waiting period in most states, including Virginia, if you got a tattoo in a state-reg facility with fresh ink & needles. 2) There are a handful of states that don't regulate tattoo facilities. In these states, there's a 3-month waiting period to donate blood: District of Columbia, Georgia, Idaho, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Pennsylvania, Utah & Wyoming. 3) Questions about your eligibility to donate blood?
