Watch and listen to the story of Lavender Doe and our wonderful friends at the DNA Doe Project! The Lavender Doe episode of Dateline aired again last week and was featured on the Talking Dateline podcast with Josh Mankiewicz and Keith Morrison. It featured the early efforts of the DNA Doe Project, and DNA Justice board members Margaret Press (DDP Co-founder) and Kevin Lord. In a moment that encompasses the work of IGG, Keith shared a passage from his favorite book, Horton Hears a Who, by Dr. Suess. His mention of the passage relates how Seuss's message embodies the motivation for why we all do what we do, for free, and for people we don't know. Especially for those whose lifestyles and circumstances others would judge, or who were marginalized, or with difficult lives and difficult identities to solve. “A person's a person, no matter how small.” Thank you, Dr. Seuss. Thank you Keith Morrison. Watch: https://lnkd.in/gV2YYhb6 Listen: https://lnkd.in/gFrn8c_r

In this gripping episode of Veteran Made, I sat down with Daniel Hollaway, a provocative voice in the realm of American politics and culture and the host of Citizen Podcast and Drinkin Bros Podcast. Together, we dove headfirst into the murky waters of modern discourse, challenging listeners to reconsider their approach to political engagement and personal responsibility. Dan pulls no punches as he dissects the current state of American dialogue, asserting that the nation stands at a critical juncture where citizens must choose between nihilism and active participation. He argues that the time for complacency is over, urging listeners to “jump in with both feet and tell circumstance and evil, f*ck you.” This raw, unfiltered perspective sets the tone for a conversation that refuses to shy away from controversial topics. At the heart of our discussion lies a powerful message: true citizenship requires more than just passive observation. Dan contends that individual liberty and personal entrepreneurship are the ultimate safeguards against tyranny, echoing the words of America’s founding fathers. He challenges listeners to take an active role in their communities, to engage in difficult conversations, and to lead by example. This episode serves as a wake-up call for those who have grown complacent, reminding us that the preservation of American ideals demands constant vigilance and personal investment.
