The survey analyzed holiday package searches on the airline's website and found that Dubai is more popular than destinations like Mauritius, Phuket, and Rome. Dubai's year-round appeal, strong connectivity with London, and variety of attractions make it an attractive destination for tourists. British Airways offers return flights from London Heathrow to Dubai starting from £439, and flights to Abu Dhabi starting from £390. The survey also found that New York, Orlando, Las Vegas, Maldives, Barbados, and Cancun are the top 6 destinations for British holidaymakers. In a bid to ensure stricter monitoring and control over incoming travellers, the Nilgiris district administration has announced the mandatory implementation of e-passes for outsiders entering the district. 3. Etihad Airways is showcasing its successful growth story, ambitious plans, and investment in guest experience at the Arabian Travel Market, which opened today. 4. Emirates has signed a number of Memorandum of Understandings (MoUs) on the first day of Arabian Travel Market (ATM) with Tourism Malaysia, Turkiye Tourism Promotion and Development Agency (TGA) and the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce. 5. As part of its pet travel service, Akasa Air has so far flown over 3,200 pets since its launch in November 2022, the airline said. In response to feedback from customers, Akasa Air has now increased the permissible weight limit for pets travelling in the cabin to 10 kgs, including the weight of the container, up from the previous 7 kilograms. "Cruise Arabia" Alliance Formed by Gulf States to Elevate Cruise Tourism Shipping Arabia, March 21, 2024 – In a strategic move to position the Arabian Gulf as a leading global cruise destination, maritime and tourism authorities from Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, and the Sultanate of Oman signed a landmark Memorandum of Understanding. This historic agreement, sealed at the ITB Berlin International Tourism Trade Fair on March 8, 2024, marks the formal establishment of the "Cruise Arabia Alliance." The alliance aims to enhance the cruise traveler experience, attract more cruise ships, and develop port infrastructure to stimulate economic growth in the region's maritime tourism sector. According to Dubai's Department of Economy and Tourism, this collaboration is set to improve the regional cruise ecosystem and strengthen ties with key stakeholders worldwide. Dubai plays a central role in this initiative, providing integrated and interconnected regional cruise services.
