Join our MRC Webinar on January 8th We'll break down how Brainly built a scalable fraud engine to reduce PSP costs and prevent disputes across several platforms. Scaling a subscription business comes with a lot of risk challenges. You’ll learn: • How to build scalable fraud detection. • How to integrate cross-platform data. • How to build automated fraud workflows • How to optimize fraud operations. Save your seat https://lnkd.in/eX_9XUHe Join Brainly's Sr Staff Engineer, Arkadiusz Gac, and our Head of Fraud, Brian Davis.

Hands up who's been here?? It breaks my heart to know that it's creating huge costs to fix problems down the line if you're not dealing with your data issues now, as well as missing out on cost savings, spotting rogue spending and even fraud. Let's keep talking about this and push the topic forward!

NOW AVAILABLE | Assess account behavior based on past activity with the Anomaly Score feature. https://lnkd.in/gHGi9DqR Understanding behavior is key when tackling complex fraud scenarios. Learn more about how Verosint Anomaly Score helps detect unexpected patterns and provides additional insight today. #FraudIntelligence #FraudDetection #AunomalyScore #PlatformFraud #AccountFraud
I little bit late on this one, but I'm also super excited about this feature. It's so much more than just signals (although they are important). Behavior matters when working through nuanced fraud use cases. Using anomaly scoring to orchestrate the right friction at the right time when things seem off. - As usual the Verosint team is killing it with new features. If your going to be at the Marketplace Risk Conference in SFO this week, stop by and check it out! https://lnkd.in/gHGi9DqR

Fraud driven by AI is on the rise. Organised crime networks now use automated fraud campaigns to maximise their output. Technology must evolve to incorporate the huge volume of data analysis required to fight back against these new methods. Link analysis and timeline visualisation is a great way to eliminate noise within complex data, so analysts can quickly uncover criminal networks. Read more about this here. ⬇
Hardly a day goes by without financial crime making the headlines. In this newly-updated guide, you'll discover how financial institutions and leading anti-fraud vendors rely on our tech to detect, investigate and prevent it: https://hubs.li/Q02scY6Y0 It's a comprehensive guide to graph visualization techniques for anti-fraud including: 🔎 Visual approaches to fraud investigation 🔎 Link analysis for fraud detection 🔎 Managing OSINT data 🔎 Combining visualization and AI to manage increasing risks #LinkAnalysis #GraphVisualization #FinancialCrime

Fraudsters are clever, but also lazy. Often times, they will use the same pieces of information in different combinations, to onboard onto a platform multiple times. Whether it is the same phone number, or the same picture on an ID, they often re-use something. That is why we are thrilled to launch our duplicate detection tool. We now flag and present users who have overlapping information.

My blog on monitoring fraud detection ML models is out! While building robust models for fraud detection is a well-covered topic, there’s often less focus on how to effectively monitor these models once they’re in production. In this blog, I explore the common pitfalls that can affect credit card fraud detection models and provide strategies to address these challenges. Check out the article here: https://lnkd.in/dZSyey3a Hope you enjoy the read!
