I hope this gets to the executive team Bill Estes Automotive. My wife and girls were just involved in a car accident last week, our vehicle was totaled and we have been looking for another Explorer that is suitable to our needs. Guess what? We found one at Bill Estes Brownsburg. My wife spoke to @steven angle and @matt belano (Sales Mgr) yesterday in person and on the phone, they just got a trade in that fits our needs God is Good and exact match. They both told us that the 2017 Ford Explorer vehicle is currently getting cleaned up, they need to get pictures taken and uploaded, so no need to come in right now but they will call us immediately once it is ready!! Awesome news.. Well, apparently someone else was able to come in, look at it, make a deal, and finance it yesterday. So to say we are upset and the unsettling experience is an understatement. Advance Auto versus Oreilly Somewhere along the way AAP decided to outsource their truck fleet Back in First quarter 1998 i had all trucks 400 at that time completely plastic wrapped. It was great advertising it had product pictures on both sides of the trailer It also had a battery picture on the back side we were #1 in battery sales at the time.battery sales were 270 units per month 3,600 units a year. All of these wraps were paid for by suppliers Oreilly and AZO kept their fleet of trucks and they are now neck and neck on sales and profits. Is there any corralation these 2 having kept their fleet and 1 who didn't? This was a case of the tail (tail wagging the dog)CarQuest The amount of impressions that AAP got from the fleet of trucks was into the billions all for free. Today they would have been lit up with LED What a short sided move by a self centered CEO's Who didn't know the business and left after they got There's. One mistake after another have led to subpar performance over the last two decades. Special value. I’m more a Pete fan but I’ll take a KW over most other truck makes any day. The thing about Pete’s and KW’s is they make you feel some special type of way. Namely the w900’s and 379’s for me. I’d never driven a KW until we got one ourselves, now im willing to drive anything, but am convinced I wouldn’t like to drive any thing else for the rest of my life. Aside from how they make you feel, which is some serious value in and of itself, you almost look forward to throwing yourself under the truck and opening the hood. As someone who does that often I have never experienced a more mechanic friendly piece of equipment. With the price of one we probably could have bought 2-3 freightliners. You can’t put a price on what it feels like to drive these American classics. In short 2-3 freightliners aren’t as valueable in terms of the kind of drivers you attract and how they make you feel barreling down the road in such a sweet head turning rig. #American #kenworth #trucking #special #value #logistics
