🌞 Powering the Future: Another New Solar PV Installation! ☀️ We're thrilled to announce that Forbo Movement Systems has just installed a brand-new solar PV system on the roof of one of our fabrication halls in Garbsen, Germany!   With 𝟯𝟯𝟮 modules generating an impressive 𝟭𝟯𝟰,𝟰𝟲𝟬 𝗸𝗪𝗽, we anticipate that this system will cover 𝟭𝟱% 𝘁𝗼 𝟮𝟬% of the total energy consumption of the fabrication center. On sunny days, we can generate more than 𝟴𝟬𝟬 𝗸𝗪𝗵 𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗱𝗮𝘆!   In total, this sums up to a saving of 𝟰𝟯 𝘁𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗢𝟮 per year. 🌿   This is a significant step toward achieving one of our mid-term sustainability goals: to cover 25% of our energy needs with renewable sources by the end of 2025. 🌍✨   “With the new PV installation, we invest in an economically sustainable way”, says Uwe Fahrenholz, Head of Global Fabrication at Forbo Movement Systems. “We save CO2, reduce our electricity costs and strengthen our position as a future-oriented, environmentally conscious company.”   Let’s keep pushing for a greener future together! 💪   #ForboMovement #Sustainability #SolarEnergy #RenewableEnergy #GreenFuture #Innovation

This plant, along with existing solar PVs in the city-state, will enable the Vatican to entirely power the city from renewable energy sources. ☀️ #CWSHygiene harnesses the power of the sun. In April 2023, we installed a photovoltaic system in Čakovec to convert the large laundry site to renewable energy. This is expected to reduce CO2 emissions by around 305 tonnes per year and is a crucial step in establishing solar power at one of the region's most important sites. We have already been able to reduce electricity consumption per tonne washed by around 8%. 🔋 In addition to the photovoltaic system in Croatia, we have installed many other PV systems at various sites that will help us achieve our self-imposed target of reducing emissions by 50% by 2030. #Sustainability #SolarPower #RenewableEnergy
