A great interview by Cory Johnson and Lisa Martin from The Futurum Group. Thank you so much to David Fauser for sitting down and talking about what has made Zoho's software solutions a stand-out choice at CIMCO Refrigeration Inc. Here's some of my takeaways: - Despite many companies claiming to be customer-centric, it's still common for prospects to feel like nothing more than a number to some vendors. The right business software is integral to the success of any organization, so the relationship between a company and its software vendor is built on a substantial amount of trust that should never be taken for granted. David feels he has been able to build that trust with Zoho. - Community matters. It's not just about how well a vendor helps a customer run their business—it's also about how the vendor runs its own business, what their core values are, and how those promises are kept. David talks about his experience in India and getting to see first-hand the way that Zoho prioritizes lifting up local communities. It's clear that it's not all just about profit and making the line go up. Zoho gives back and pays its successes forward to future generations. - The simpler, the better. A software vendor is there to make a customer's job and life easier. David cites on multiple occasions the ease-of-use and interoperability of Zoho's platform. Despite having no IT background, he's able to lead his sales teams with a data-first mindset, implement in-house coaching for better adoption, and evolve the software processes with the business. Today, their adoption rate is at 100% for CRM, and it's in no small part thanks to how easy the platform is to use. Lots of other great takeaways I didn't list out here, so I encourage everyone to give this interview a listen!
