For many families, leaving the hospital after a child’s serious diagnosis is just the beginning of a long and uncertain recovery journey. Post-acute care is crucial, but many families and providers don’t know where to turn once the hospital doors close. A recent study published in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine identified 109 pediatric post-acute care facilities across the U.S.—yet there are still huge regions where there are no dedicated pediatric post-acute care facilities. At Ranken Jordan, we’re working to connect families with the resources they need. Our very own Dr. Nick Holekamp has been dedicated to gathering data on post-acute care programs across the country, to create a directory that helps families and healthcare professionals navigate this essential phase of care. Read more about this important research and how we can collaborate to close the gaps in pediatric post-acute care here. https://lnkd.in/ga9JtEpY #RankenJordan #PediatricCare #PostAcuteCare #BridgeHospitals #HealthcareCommunity Tag - https://lnkd.in/gqtc26jY

“Get it right, make it safe” #PatientSafetyDay: Improving Diagnosis for Patient Safety Today, we join the global community in recognizing Patient Safety Day, with this year’s theme focusing on "Improving Diagnosis for Patient Safety." Accurate and timely diagnosis is vital to ensuring the best outcomes for every patient, particularly for mothers and newborns. 🤱#MaternalSafety begins with the right diagnosis at the right time. From prenatal care to postnatal support, every stage of motherhood requires a healthcare system that prioritizes safety, precision, and compassionate care. By improving our diagnostic practices, we can significantly reduce risks, prevent complications, and provide mothers and their babies with the quality care they deserve. Let’s commit to fostering a healthcare environment where every patient receives the most accurate and prompt diagnosis. Together, we can build a safer world for mothers and families. #PatientSafety #HealthcareQuality #MaternalHealth #اليوم_العالمي_لسلامة_المرضى
