🎥 Behind-the-Scenes Magic! 🎥 Take a sneak peek at how we recorded the AR hologram of Mary Wheatland using the fantastic Vormetric video studio at the University of Portsmouth’s CCIXR Centre. 🌟 While real-world holograms don’t technically exist, we can create them virtually in augmented reality using a cutting-edge technique called Volumetric Video. 📽️✨ Volumetric Capture or ‘VolCap’ is a revolutionary type of video that records objects in three dimensions. With volumetric video, you can view an object from different angles, as if you were there in person, making the experience more immersive and interactive. We used a green-screen stage with multiple sensor cameras recording simultaneously. 🎬📸 This technology is still very new, and only a few studios in Europe can create this type of video.
