This Thanksgiving, we’re taking a moment to reflect and truly appreciate all that this year has brought us. We’re thankful for every person and every milestone we’ve encountered. The memories created have become part of our story and the reason we do what we do—providing your setting for connecting. 2024 is a chapter we’ll want to read time and time again, and we want to thank you for being a part of it.

What a week at Inspire Youth Zone – full of productivity, growth, and exciting developments! Here’s a round-up of what’s been happening: Started interviews for our new Playwork Manager – exciting times ahead as we bring in fresh talent to help drive our vision forward. Had a great meeting with one of our trustees Matthew Currie to explore a sustainable business idea that will help support the incredible work we do here at Inspire. Took a bit of time out on Tuesday and – got a head start on Christmas shopping! 🎁 Wednesday: A busy one with more interviews for the Playwork Manager, the first meeting of our new look safeguarding team (minus the DSL! 😂), and we kicked off discussions with the wider team about shaping our strategic roadmap for the next 3 years as we look to finalise our new 3 year inspiring young people strategy. Thursday started on a high with a meeting alongside our new Head of Services and Targeted Service Manager (a brand-new role for us) to develop a 3-month plan from the new year for introducing direct engagement programmes for young people alongside our universal offer. The new strategy provide a clear focus on making sure we leave no young people behind. Today took me to Fleetwood to visit the new Boat House facility, love it. Had a brilliant chat with Sarah Lindsay about all things youth work, leadership challenges, and shared ideas. Was meant to be there for a couple of hours, ended up being 4. Definitely feeling inspired after this catch-up! It's a true privilege to be in a role where every day offers something new, and the opportunity for development and growth is constant. So proud of the work we’re doing and excited for what’s to come. P.S. If you haven’t seen our annual Christmas video yet, make sure to check it out. #Inspire #YouthWork #Leadership #Teamwork #Growth #Development #Christmas
In these colder months when we don't leave the house as often, it’s a reminder we all need a buddy! Whether it’s making friends, hanging with our awesome GREEN team, or finding a safe place to be yourself – we’re here for you. 💚 Let’s stick together this season and beyond!

There’s one organization that stands head and shoulders above all others when it comes to excellence in execution… 🎅 Santa Claus Inc. 🎅 Delivering billions of presents in just one night across the entire planet? That’s no small feat! Santa clearly has a lot to teach us about excellence in strategy execution! 1. CLEAR VISION AND GOAL Santa’s vision is crystal clear: to bring joy to children worldwide at Christmas. His goal? Deliver presents to kids across the globe in a single night. That level of clarity is something most organizations can only dream of! 2. BREAKTHROUGH INNOVATION Santa achieves the impossible thanks to cutting-edge technology. His sleigh and the magic that allows him to circle the globe in one night exemplify how brilliant innovation can overcome even the toughest logistical challenges. 3. THE POWER OF ADAPTABILITY With Christmas celebrated in 160+ countries, Santa adapts to diverse cultures and traditions with grace. Whether it’s navigating different customs or squeezing down an endless variety of chimneys, Santa shows us why flexibility is essential in strategy execution. 4. METICULOUS PLANNING Great strategies often fail due to poor planning—but not Santa’s. His year-long preparation for Christmas Eve is a masterclass in the importance of thorough planning and execution to achieve strategic goals. 5. PROCESS EFFICIENCY Santa’s workshop isn’t just magical; it’s a model of operational excellence. From his hardworking elves to his seamless delivery systems, Santa demonstrates the power of well-oiled processes in driving success. 6. TEAMWORK AND LEADERSHIP Santa’s team—his elves and reindeer—proves that no leader succeeds alone. By keeping them motivated and focused year-round, Santa delivers flawless results when it matters most. That’s leadership at its best. 7. TOTAL CUSTOMER FOCUS At the heart of Santa’s operation is one key principle: customer delight. He never loses sight of his ultimate mission—to bring happiness to children everywhere. 🎄 Wishing everyone in my network and beyond a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! 🎄 Jakob #SantaClaus #Strategy #Execution PS. Still doubting Santa’s existence? The North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) tracks his journey every Christmas Eve. If that doesn’t settle it, I don’t know what will! 😊

I celebrated my 40th birthday recently! 🥳 I’m honoured and humbled that my dearest friends and family joined me, making it a night to remember. How does this relate to a business platform (I hear you ask…)? I’ve been told repeatedly that the mix of guests was brilliant and the atmosphere in the venue was joyful and positive. I don’t think this was an accident. Over the last few years I’ve made a conscious effort to remove people from my personal and business life if their presence just causes an overall depleting effect with no positive output – examples of this could be drains on my time, money, energy, resources, focus etc. In business, a few drastic culls in recent years has freed up a huge amount of mental and time capacity, allowing me to focus on the main business, Longridge Limited – it now feels like we’ve got rocket fuel in our engines! Major positive outcomes so far have been: - A multi seven-figure asset and debt restructuring exercise, leading to vastly improved liquidity and lower overall costs; - A huge pipeline of property stock under review, with several deals already purchased and many more in legals; - New contracts secured with numerous rental and lease operators, providing better service for us and renters and a more efficient and profitable investment return for the business; - A growing waiting list of investors wanting to work with us, either for a fixed percentage return or in a Joint Venture arrangement. In my personal life…the ‘joyful and positive’ atmosphere at my party is all the evidence I need that the cull was needed! Get rid of the dead wood! 👊

🎉 Happy New Year 2025! Over the holidays, I took the time to unplug and enjoy precious moments with my family—a choice I’ll always value. 💙 While I haven’t finalized my 2025 goals yet, I’m gearing up to complete them in the coming days. Did you know? Studies show that people who set goals are 10x more likely to achieve success compared to those who don’t. And writing goals down? That increases the likelihood of achieving them by 42%! 📈 For me, goal setting isn’t just about the destination—it’s about creating focus, building momentum, and setting a clear direction. Here’s to a year of intentional action, personal growth, and shared achievements. Let’s make 2025 extraordinary! 🚀 What’s one big goal you’re aiming for this year? #HappyNewYear #2025 #GoalSetting #Success #GrowthMindset #mosaikPro #savee

I just returned home this weekend from a big regional area meet in Pensacola and saw this. Wanted to share it as this is the beauty of cross country and how it would apply if we used that same spirit in our work and personal lives. These are not my words but as a 7+ year cross country mom, they very well could be. —- What if we lived life like we were all in a cross country meet? What if we watched other people and recognized that we're all just trying to get across the finish line? What if we understood that some people are running as hard as they can but battling illnesses, invisible injuries, and internal struggles? Every step is hard, but they're trying not to quit. What if we cheered for everyone even if they weren't on our team? What if we realized just finishing something, no matter how long it took us or how messy it seemed, was enough? In fact, it was a win. What if we used every race as an opportunity to learn more about ourselves and how we could use each other for support, inspiration, and help to reach our goals? What if we cheered loud for the winner, but even louder for the one who comes in after because they accomplished something great, too? In a world that tells us it's about me, me, me, what if we started living to support everyone brave enough to be in the race? What if we started treating our lives like we were all in the same cross country meet? What a beautiful world that would be. Love hard. Whitney Fleming Writes
