I've been looking for Manual QA work for over a year now and I haven't been very successful. Personally I feel this is caused by most companies having a bot sorting algorithm that, in my opinion, doesn't do a good job. Regardless, there have been many companies I never got a response from, and some that sent back an automated message, usually with a cliche line like, "While we are impressed with your resume, we have decided to go ahead with other applicants." It's very hard to find a job in hi-tech, as a general rule, and it's even worse when there isn't even a real human interaction. Anyway, to end this bit of a rant, I'm hoping someone in HR at a high tech company sees this and can reach out to me. I'm open to a job in Manual QA! TL;DR I'm tired of these fake interactions when applying for a job. I'm available for hire, so send me a message if you're hiring Manual QA positions!!! Hi LinkedIn friends! I'm a QA (Quality Assurance) expert with over five years of experience in software testing. I'm looking for remote job opportunities that match my skills and fit my life as a single parent. In my QA career, I've always done good work and kept learning new things. I started with manual testing, where I got really good at finding bugs and making sure software is easy to use. Then, I learned how to use different tools to make testing faster and better: • API Testing: REST Assured (Java) and Postman • Performance Testing: LoadRunner and JMeter • Web Automation: Selenium (Java and Python) and Cypress (JavaScript) Using these tools has helped me test software more quickly and thoroughly in my projects. I love QA because I believe in making technology that people can always rely on. As a parent, I know how important it is to have dependable software in our daily lives.
