Not long ago, our CEO Mark Rourke revealed an incredible statistic: Back when he first joined Schneider, the emissions produced by just one truck from the 1988 model year equaled those of 60 fuel-efficient trucks projected for 2024. To put it in perspective: a contemporary truck can make the journey from Los Angeles to New York with fewer carbon emissions than a truck from the '80s would emit driving from Green Bay to Chicago. I find this progress astounding, especially now that we have introduced zero-emission battery electric vehicles!
