A new study has provided promising data on segmental aneuploid embryo transfer, which demonstrated healthy live birth rates similar to those of high-end mosaic embryos. The research revealed that 24% of transfers resulted in live births, and all babies had normal prenatal exams, suggesting that segmental aneuploids may have the potential for success when differentiated from whole chromosome aneuploids. This distinction may offer new perspectives for doctors and patients to make more informed decisions in fertility treatments.
