It's time we take action to protect and restore our precious forests and oceans and finally Earth before it's too late. NATO or other Organizations are also responsible for protecting our forests and oceans and all humanity with peace . They should respect to all thoughts without considering racism and finally developing to keep our planet Earth . We have no other place to live as alternative except Earth . Let’s young leaders control future of our planet. NATO and Organization are responsible to bring peace not to manufacturing war guns and tools . We are all in one ship . Plitvice Lakes National Park CROATIA Croatia's largest national park covering almost 30,000 hectares, is situated in the lower elevations of the Dinarides in the central part of the country. It's known for a chain of 16 terraced lakes, joined by waterfalls, that extend into a limestone canyon. Walkways and hiking trails wind around and across the water, and an electric boat links the 12 upper and 4 lower lakes. Within a beautiful karst landscape dominated by a mix of forests and meadows, the magnificent Plitvice lake system stands out, fascinating scientists and visitors alike. Interconnected by many waterfalls and watercourses above and below ground, the lakes are grouped into the upper and lower lakes. The former are formed on dolomites, with mild relief, not so steep shores and enclosed by thick forests, whereas the latter, smaller and shallower, are situated in limestone canyon with partially steep shores. The lake system is the result of millennia of ongoing geological and biochemical processes creating natural dams known as tufa barriers. These are formed by the deposition of calcium carbonate from the waters flowing through the property. In the case of the Plitvice lake system, this geochemical process of tufa formation interacts with living organisms, most importantly mosses, algae and aquatic bacteria. Plitvice Lakes National Park area is mainly covered with very well preserved forests essential for the continuity of geochemical processes in water system (above and below ground), which include an area of 84 ha of old-growth forest of beech and fir. Besides the striking landscape beauty and the processes that continue to shape the lakes, the park is also home to noteworthy biodiversity. The tufa barriers themselves provide habitat for diverse and highly specialized communities of non-vascular plants. The gemsbok (Oryx gazella) is a striking and resilient antelope species native to the arid regions of southern Africa, particularly in countries like Botswana, Namibia, and South Africa. Known for their majestic appearance, gemsbok are easily recognizable by their long, straight horns, which can grow up to 85 centimeters (33 inches) in length, and their distinctive black-and-white facial markings that contrast beautifully with their sandy gray coats. Adapted to the harsh desert environments, gemsbok have evolved to survive with limited water. They can extract moisture from the vegetation they consume and have specialized kidneys that help conserve water, allowing them to thrive in regions where other animals might struggle. These antelopes are often seen in herds, moving gracefully across the open plains of places like Botswana’s Kalahari Desert. Beyond their impressive physical attributes, gemsbok are symbols of resilience and beauty in the wild. Their ability to live in extreme conditions and their striking appearance make them one of the most iconic animals of Africa’s deserts. The zunzuncito, also known as the bee hummingbird, is a tiny winged marvel that captivates with its grace and vibrant colors.
