There is a certain magic to the image of the film movie camera lacking in the digital. Not only did these cameras become synonymous in culture with the magic of movie making, but filming day for night was easier both to film and watch, and the ability to customize the shot with the music was easier. I recently have been working on editing a very rhythmic theme song for Triskelion Pictures with text images for the credits. Digital software has its limitations that reel film didn't have and vice versa.
