Friend’s Congratulations! CM Rise School Vinoba, Ratlam, MP has been declared first in the ‘Innovation’ category of the ‘World’s Best School Awards, by London based T-4 education organization. CM- Dr. Mohan Yadav and Education Minister Shri Uday Pratap Singh have congratulated all School Education Department for this achievement. This award has showcased the capabilities of India’s government schools at the global level. Friend's, in ancient time India was educational capital of the world. There was Mad rush for getting education in India: Students came from China, Japan, Korea, Indonesia, Malaysia, west Asia. For example-Fa-Hien, Xuanzang, Yijing from China etc. Most of the civilized part of the world wanted to get degree from India and it was Hard to get admission in top Universities like Nalanda and Vikramshila and it’s similar like in current situation where students go to US and UK for Oxford and Howard Universities for degree and that’s a story of Educational Heritage of ancient India. Today, India is one among the countries that has the highest number of educational institutions in the world and consequently, the highest number of Students and teachers. In 1872, Morris Lyewellyn Cooke wrote a report for Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching. This was titled Academic and Industrial Efficiency. The intention was to standardize faculty workloads and use this as a measure of delivery of education. There are obvious parallels with factories and industrial production, a bit like Ford Motor Company using mass production to manufacture Model T cars. “Any customer can have a car painted any color that he wants so long as it is black.” But education isn’t factory production, or shouldn’t be. To quote Henry Ford again, “I will build a car for the great multitude. It will be large enough for the family, but small enough for the individual to run and care for. …But it will be so low in price that no man making a good salary will be unable to own one.” Other countries (read Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area 2015) have moved away from such dysfunctional ideas. So should we. Let's see Framework and Judging Process so that others can follow and implement in our #nationbuildingprogram #NIRF #SSA #modeldegreecollege #asprationalschool #kailashSatyarthi #RanjitsinhDisale #aicte #ugc #iit #nit #university #school #community #unicef #unesco #adb #pisa #aser #ngo #pratham #edique #squarepanda #extramarks #utltelecom #mantra #schoolnet #mafatlal #valuablegroups #utl #mukulmadhavfoundation #t4education #vedantafoundation #adanifoundation #cbse #mhrd #msde #skillgap #igsce #vicechancellor #teachers #students #incubation #innovation #sdg #toi #smartcampus #ict #bsnl #dlink Check this: https://lnkd.in/dQ4NpQ5Q Friend’s Please put your thoughts by connecting all above dots wrt Article published in TOI by Sh Swaminath S Aiyar on topic Big Learning gaps but bright spot emerge and resonate.
I feel a great sense of pride and gratitude when public commentators write about the state of education off the back of our World's Best School Prizes, which happened unexpectedly today and featured in the popular Swaminomics column in the Times of India. India is poised for super-power status but needs to fix the challenges of its public education systems. If there's one lesson to take away from the win of the CM Rise School in Ratlam it is this: empower your workforce - your teachers, leaders, and communities to own what happens in every school in India. #bestschoolprizes #education #india

I often find myself questioning the education system in Bharat. It took us thousands of years to develop a profound academic ecosystem where knowledge emerged as a cornerstone of advancement. Students were given lessons in every sphere, and curiosity propelled learners to research, read and explore … the ecosystem was in sync with what we defined as the ideal way of life as penned in our ancient Vedic texts. The Guru was respected because he was instrumental in shaping the student’s very being. He blessed them with the indomitable spirit that would enable them to brave the world. However, change is inevitable, and as the British set stronghold on Bhartiya soil, education sought new parameters. Grades took paramount importance and teachers ‘earn’ respect based on their ability to help students acquire a 95+ in every subject. The result of implementing the underdog way has led to the declining reputation of an institution that took years to earn the global recognition that was a testament to the educational ecosystem. On the occasion of Guru Purnima, I urge learners and parents to revisit their roots and seek teachers who can genuinely inculcate a profound moral set in their children and help them emerge as individuals with a well rounded personality that will take them places. Becoming educated is necessary but aligning your education to required skills is the need of the hour. #happygurupurnima #paniheecommunications #heerkothari #heerkothariquotes #thearielviewpoint #loveforlibation

Critical Misalignments in Indian Higher Education: A Conversation with Mr. Subodh Mathur What happens when we map our current education system against two powerful frameworks - Bloom's Taxonomy and the six-tier teacher hierarchy from ancient Indian Gurukuls? The answers are both fascinating and concerning. In this insightful discussion, our higher education system gets uncovered: * Emphasizes remembering when it should focus on creating * Tests knowledge when it should nurture innovation * Lectures when it should facilitate growth Watch as I explore why India, despite its high enrollment rates in higher education, struggles with research output and unemployability. Is our education system inadvertently clipping the wings it should help spread? 🤔 https://lnkd.in/ghFC3zUV #EducationReform #IndianEducation #HigherEducation #Innovation #BloomsTaxonomy #Leadership #Education #Learning

Modi's Eleven Mantras. PM is our teacher. Every English educated Indians must read these 11 mantras given by the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. These Mantras may not be exactly for a party or leaders only but these may be important for all of us. These will help us taking India towards Viksit Bharat. There are no other such guidelines available around us. Modi ji conceived the idea, planned things and then keep giving step by step so that maximum number of people get involved in the process. It's our time. The first point is for all of us. 1. Every individual should perform their duties. Be it in individuals or the administration, everyone must adhere to their responsibilities. It's plain and simple. Unlearning lessons are included in 5th and 6th points. 5. Break free from colonial mindset and foster pride in India's Heritage and legacy. 6. End to Dynasty politics and promoting meritocracy over nepotism in governance. I wish that people in my contact should do this unlearning faster than their peer members. They will remain at advantage. Keep Unlearning and follow simple ideas to move towards Viksit Bharat. #kamekish connects you with #ViksitBharat

Why our politicians and bureaucrats unable to build and run such school FREE SCHOOL EDUCATION? Our politicians talk too much but never visit and understand the issues of primary school education in villages. Total failure of puppets like bureaucrats, having no vision for rural schools education department to groom millions of rural students. NGO, Foreigners, can do it, because they have the vision, the empathy, and confidence. This rajasthan school is the example of these non- political people efforts.... Please see this video to know that it can happen.... https://lnkd.in/gnvnpYRW
