From January to September 2024, India saw a remarkable growth in renewable energy installations, adding 17,444 MW of solar and 2,627 MW of wind capacity. This marks a 105.8% increase in solar and 14.8% in wind installations over the same period in 2023. As of September 2024, India's total renewable energy capacity reached 201.46 GW.
