Hi friend, Almost nothing matters more to me than feeling present, connected, & creative. I've likely said this to you before. These three qualities matter because they are my checkboxes for knowing and feeling alive. It's easy to lose track of that, somehow. Does that happen to you, too? I'm too easily lost in the minutiae of daily life, the grind. Writing is my practice of bringing awareness to what is. For example, this week I wrote a love poem. In the midst of a major relationship shift, it feels crucial to remember that love is the reason I'm here. Love is why I'm doing this hard work of challenging habituated patterns, desperately trying to become a more skillful human and partner. Working on the poem helps me connect with feeling love. Creating helps me become present at a painful time. This week, I learned about protactile language while exploring the work of deafblind poet John Lee Clark. Protactile is a language of touch and movement. Watching Mr. Clark communicate with a group of people brought me to tears. The piece is all the things: present, connected, and creative. What's radical about the practice of present, connected, and creative is that it is here and now. It is in opposition to absent/disassociated, disconnected, and stuck. It directs attention toward what is good in our lives. If it's helpful for you, I share it gladly. #PaviniMoray #HowToHoldPower #GlitterJoyrideSubstack #Somatics #TraumaHealing #LiberationWriting #TendingTheBones #TraumaQueerTheNovel

This text appears to be a short poem or philosophical statement about the nature of time and how it reveals the true character of people. The main message seems to be that over time, a person's real face or true nature will be revealed, rather than time itself changing people. The poem suggests that time serves to uncover or "reveal" the authentic self, rather than transforming individuals. The final lines with the numbers 11 12 1 and 10 2 are a bit more cryptic. They could possibly be representing a clock face, with the numbers indicating something about the passage of time and how it relates to the poem's central idea. Overall, this text seems to convey a thoughtful perspective on how time provides insight into a person's genuine qualities and identity, rather than being the cause of fundamental personal change. The concise and reflective nature of the wording gives the piece a contemplative, almost poetic feel. #TimeReveals #TrueNature #AuthenticSelf #CharacterOverTime #TemporalInsight #WhoWeReally #PsychologicalReflection #PersonalIdentity #TimeandTruth #HiddenFaces

How do you express what’s in your heart to those you care about? Do you bide your time, express through subtle gestures, with flowers, or do you write letters or poems? Do you express yourself through physical closeness or do you spill out your feelings like a bubbling brook, let words and emotions pour down like a rainstorm, or rage like the mighty ocean? We are unique in so many ways. Tonight, take a moment to observe your own unique ways of expressing what’s in your heart. And here’s an idea: reach out and ask someone close to you about their unique forms of expression. You might be surprised by what you discover. #pantareiapproach #learnpantarei #communicationiskey #getintouchwithyourself

After Inside out 2 released , people seems to be talking a lot about 'Anxiety.' However, there seems to be a gap in understanding that Anxiety can't be calmed with logic. Our mind is ideally a 'Factory of logic'. But logic can burn the factory while being anxious. It really gets hard for us to calm the fire fuelled by logic. Its empathy which can turn out to be a cooler. Here is a teaser of the wildfire going inside a anxious mind. So, next time you face such wildfire, try being the cooler! Just one of many interesting conversations with Joydeep - Joy: Sonder janish (Do you know the meaning of sonder?) Me: *about to type, no* Joy: It's one of those antique words people never really use these days. It's a feeling. Very fleeting. Joy: Have you ever glanced through your apartment window and perhaps spotted a silhouette of a person in another window. Or maybe someone standing in the balcony of some other apartment that you never see again in life? Joy: That person's role, in your life, was only for those few seconds. That's it. Joy: When you think about it, sounds pretty crazy. A person, with their own infinitely complex life, just like you. So many joys, so many sadnesses, so many heartbreaks. Just like you. Joy: Their life just crossed into yours for just a few seconds. Joy: For 3 or 4 seconds, their path converged with yours. And then went away on its own separate path again. Joy: That feeling is called sonder. Sometimes it's just a couple seconds, sometimes it's a few years. But you gotta let those happen, I guess. That's the beauty of life. Joy: Okay, thanks for coming to my TED Talk. Me: *Ellipsis* That’s it. This is the post. Happy weekend! #words #poetry #stories

Love Language: Love is an eternal feeling. It has to be felt. Nobody is beyond to be loved. Your first love is from home; it’s from parents. Secondly, it transfers to partners, but ultimately we can love others if we love ourselves. We are born to be loved and spread love. The language of love varies from person to person. Interestingly, it varies according to age also. In the span of life, the love expression may decrease but not the true feeling, most importantly, you should understand the love language of your partners. In the race for survival, a person has to do a lot of duties. By this time, if he/she forgets to express his/hher love language, it’s not a subject of argument. Rather, you have to understand his situation. The love language of a lover doesn’t cut short but changes. You have to consider the changes and continue. Betraial is another matter of consideration, but love is long-lasting for the lovebirds. #love language # poster design #WritingPassion #Wordsmith #CreativeWriting #WriteLife #AuthorLife #WritingCommunity #WritersOfLinkedIn #InkAndPaper #PenToPaper #WritingInspiration #WriteYourHeartOut #WritingGoals #WritingJourney #WritingTips #WritingMotivation #WritingIsMyTherapy #WriteEveryDay #WritingChallenge #WritingPrompts #WritingSkills #WritingProcess #WritingGoals #WritingLife #WritingLove #WritingMastery #WritingWisdom #WritingCraft #WritingSuccess #WritingMindset #WritingHustle #WritingEmpowerment

Feeling unanchored? Me too We’ve all been there—those moments when the world feels unsteady, and we feel a bit lost, like a boat without an anchor. Whether it’s a career challenge, a big change, or just one of those days, it’s important to pause and find comfort in the storm. During these times, I turn to my mindfulness practice, which includes: Meditation - I use guided meditations on loving kindness, acceptance, resilience, and staying open to possibilities. I use the Happier app but there are all kinds of apps you can use and great free meditations you can find by googling. Journaling - This is a part of my practice when I find myself judging or anxious. Writing my thoughts and feelings allows me to release my judgment and anxiety and forgive myself. Friends—When I feel unanchored, I text a friend to see if they have 5 minutes to talk on the phone. I find comfort in connecting with another human being, hearing their voice, and checking in. Poetry - My appreciation for poetry came late - only in the last couple of years. Who knew there were so many great poets out there other than the classics we learned in school? Poetry brings joy to my heart. What helps you feel grounded when life feels unsteady? Share your tips in the comment - I’d love to hear your wisdom! Reference: hooks, bell. I love to write stream of consciousness. To allow words enter my mind from the subconscious / dreamlike realms, & weave together in whatever form they wish to take, on any subject that stirs. Often surprised by the beauty & depth that is created. I wrote a piece recently doing this ~ {a nightblooming flower // the innocence & sensuality of girlhood} & had no idea where it came from. I wish to share it sometime, intrigued & interested to contemplate what it showed of my emotions, desires, & thoughts, beyond awareness. A waking exploration into deeper mental spaces. Give it a try & see where your own consciousness takes you, what you learn. Connection without logic, feeling into deeper levels, can be done by anyone, whether you consider yourself creative or not. #creativity #writing #publishing.
