My PhD journey has been a marathon of relentless dedication, intense work, and consistent pursuit of excellence, and today, I've crossed the finish line. The focus of my doctoral research, "Artificial Intelligence-Powered Solutions for Date Palm Disease and Pest Management: Paving the Way to Smart Oasis Development," demonstrates my commitment to integrating AI with sustainable farming practices. None of this would have been achievable without the profound insights and steadfast support of my thesis supervisors, Professor Yousef Farhaoui and Professor Badraddine Aghoutane, whose guidance was pivotal to my research and personal growth. I am also incredibly thankful to my peers Mohamed Khalifa Boutahir, Ahmed El Youssefi, Ali Omari Alaoui, who have been my comrades and source of inspiration throughout this demanding yet fulfilling journey. Celebrating this achievement with them has only magnified my happiness. Most importantly, I owe a debt of gratitude to my family, whose love and sacrifices laid the foundation of my every endeavor. Their enduring faith in me has always been my guiding light. As I look forward to the next phase, I am excited about applying my research to real-world challenges and forging new paths in AI and agriculture. This article is a bibliographic review titled 'Impact of Research on Maize Production Challenges in Hungary' which has mainly studied literature published in Web of Science between 1975-2022. Research is aimed at addressing the key abiotic, biotic and social economic constraints. The stakeholders and institutions involved in research are spread allover the world comprehensively revealing the trend of maize research in Hungary, as well as key players such as institutions, universities, industry and researchers. I believe this kind of review can be beneficial in highlighting the key maize research areas as well as bettering our research institutions to help us bridge the research gaps mainly food insecurity and household income through agricultural development. I am thrilled to announce that my latest paper "Invasive plants of the city of Tuzla (Bosnia and Herzegovina)" has been published in Works of Faculty of Agriculture and Food Sciences (University of Sarajevo)! "The aim of this paper is to represent diversity of invasive plant species in the area of Tuzla city, to analyse the spectrum of life forms and the geographical origin of species. Scientific researches were conducted in 2018 and 2019 during the summer and autumn season using transect sampling method. Based on field research we determined the presence of 24 plant species which makes almost 30% of the whole number of invasive plants in Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Major number of species comes from family of Compositae, while the most common life form is a therophyte. With its representation in the city and suburbs of Tuzla, the species that stand out from the list of the hundred most invasive species in Europe are: Ailanthus altissima (Mill.) Swingle, Ambrosia artemisiifolia L., Reynoutria japonica Houtt., Helianthus tuberosus L. and Robinia pseudoacacia L." #publication #research #ecology #science #bosniaandherzegovina #tuzla

This study developed an innovative farm-level recursive programming model to simulate the dynamic changes in farm structure in the Thessaly region of Greece. 📊 The model captures farmers' evolving decisions under varying economic and policy conditions, providing valuable insights into how arable farming in the region may develop over time.
