Hackathons! 👨💻 The DMK government has been harnessing hackathons to enhance the problem-solving and critical-thinking skills of Tamil Nadu students. A total of 1,61,226 students have participated in these hackathons so far. Innocent Divya, Managing Director of Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation, said: "Gen Z thinks very differently – their processing skills are unique. When a challenge is presented, they are enthusiastic. Today’s generation is eager for challenges and, when they gain a new perspective, it could lead to the creation of a start-up." The winners do not receive cash prizes; instead, they get free access to courses and internship opportunities at top companies. The prizes include a ₹30,000 design course and a ₹20,000 UX course, among others. We are exploring the possibility of organizing hackathons that focus on recruitment. #tamilnadu #skilldevelopment #education #training #hackathon #management #leadership #motivation #inspiration #law #strategy #culture #technology #innovation #marketing #software #programming #design #ux

I feel the greatest sign of even the smallest success is definitely the impact you leave on others! From Planning to Execution: Conducted my personal favourite seminar “Campus Connect” for over 200+ enthusiastic first-year students, and the experience has been absolutely rewarding! 🌟 I and one of my fellow friends conducted this full fledged event “Campus Connect (Opportunities and Newly Gen)”, which aimed to bridge the gap between academic expectations and real-world opportunities to make the most out of their first year. As I reflect on my first year in college, I'm amazed at the immense experience I've gained in the field of technology and academics so that I could give this session which highlights: - Strategies to excel academically and maintain a strong CGPA - Introduction to DSA and Web Development, plus tips on landing internships - Guidance on leveraging college opportunities - Insights into various technology fields - Tips on how to win a hackathon - An interactive Q&A The positive feedback we received from the students was overwhelming, and it made me realize how fulfilling it is to be in a position where I can guide and support my juniors. 💡 As a senior, creating an aura of support and leadership has been a highlight of my second year. 💫 Looking forward to organizing more such events and continuing to mentor the next generation! 💼 Thanks, Guru Tegh Bahadur 4th Centenary Engineering College, Atharv Tripathi, Arpit Rajput, and Amardeep Singh sir for the support. #Mentorship #Leadership #TechGuidance #HackathonTips #CollegeOpportunities #WebDev #DSA #FirstYearSuccess #CGPATips #InteractiveSession #BuildingTheFuture #Networking

Standing at the overarching entrance of the University of Southern California, Akhil’s mind fled past to his school days where it all started… When his friends eagerly discussed the new video games on the Windows-installed laptop, Akhil curiously explored the other features of Windows. When they played chess against the virtual player, Akhil’s mind went into the depths of the underlying principles, leading him to the world of AI. Amassing knowledge through YouTube videos and other resources, he was drawn to the potential of Computer Science. Thus, he joined GITAM Deemed University, Visakhapatnam, for a BTech in Computer Science and Engineering. The 4 years that followed were a thrilling experience for Akhil with diverse projects, stimulating internships, and co-scholastic activities. Meanwhile, his research skills and practical knowledge multiplied while doing an R&D internship at a startup. Bagging the departmental topper among 660 students and the university 2nd rank among 2400 students, he waved goodbye to GITAM! Even though he decided to strengthen his learnings by studying abroad, in the following 1.5 years, he worked as a Software Engineer refining his understanding of the industry standards and professional skills. Parallelly, he kicked off his study abroad preparations. He approached Galvanize after being let down by some GRE & TOEFL preparation apps. Thus, even though he joined Galvanize after seeing loads of positive reviews on Quora and Google Play Store, he was a bit doubtful about the services. As days passed by, he was convinced that Galvanize was not a preacher of quality but a strict follower. This led him to avail himself of Galvanize Admission counseling as well. The close interaction with the admissions expert helped him shortlist Universities of his choice. It was a proud moment for both Galvanize and Akhil when he got admitted to 8 out of 10 Universities he applied in the USA! Finalizing the University of Southern California as his grad school, Akhil confidently faced the Visa interview by building his interview skills through mock interviews and eventually landed on his dream University. Akhil’s success is a true example of consistency and devotion, isn’t it? More success stories are on the way. Stay Tuned… Pavithra Srinivasan Ram Srinivasan #USA #studyinusa #studyabroad #galvanizeglobal #future #overseaseducation #futurism #globallearning #GITAM #computerscience #highereducation

𝗕𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲 𝗶𝘁 𝗼𝗿 𝗻𝗼𝘁, 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗻𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗿🌟 For me, that mentor has been Sakshama Ghoslya. I still remember the day he interviewed me for a 𝟱𝗚 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 at 𝗜𝗜𝗧 𝗛𝘆𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗱 for an internship. I was excited, nervous, and eager to dive into the world of 5G. Little did I know, this journey would be anything but straightforward. During my first job on building the 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝟱𝗚 𝗧𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗯𝗲𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 at IIT Hyderabad, Sakshama became my lifeline. Every time I hit a roadblock (there were many) he was the person I turned to. Back then, understanding the 𝟱𝗚 𝗣𝗵𝘆𝘀𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗟𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿 felt like climbing a mountain without a map. Sure, there were blogs and papers, but everything seemed tangled. One concept led to another, and before I could grasp it, I was lost in a web of technical jargon. It was overwhelming, and I often wished there was a 𝘀𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲, 𝗮𝗹𝗹-𝗶𝗻-𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗲 to make sense of it all. Now, Sakshama has created exactly that, a 𝟮𝟯+ 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀 training course on the 𝟱𝗚 𝗣𝗵𝘆𝘀𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗟𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿. It’s not your typical course. It 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗰𝘀 and takes you 𝗱𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝟱𝗚. Whether you're just starting out or you’ve been in the industry for years, this course has something for you. Whether you're into development, research, or testing, this course will meet your needs. What makes it special is his teaching doesn’t just explain concepts—it makes them stick. And trust me, that’s rare. The course already has a 𝟰.𝟳+ 𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴, and I’m not surprised. I vouch for it not just because of the content, but because I know the person behind it—the same mentor who guided me through my toughest challenges. If you’ve ever struggled to make sense of 5G, or if you want to strengthen your understanding, this course is for you. 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗰𝗸 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗸 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘆𝗲𝘀, 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲’𝘀 𝗮 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗱𝗲 𝘁𝗼𝗼! Kudos to Sakshama Ghoslya for creating something that’s not just a course, but a game-changer. PS: This is not a paid promotion. #mentor #5G #5GPhysicalLayer #appreciation
