🌿 How Do I Start Learning Mindfulness? 🌿 Starting a mindfulness practice can seem daunting, but it doesn't have to be. As a psychologist, I always encourage beginning with small, manageable steps. Here are some simple ways to get started: Pay Attention: Begin by tuning into what’s happening around and within you. Focus on your breathing and gently notice when your mind starts to wander. Mindful Movement: If sitting still feels challenging, try mindful movement. Take a walk and pay attention to the sights, sounds, and sensations around you. Guided Exercises: Explore mindfulness apps for guided exercises. They can provide structure and support as you build your practice. Remember, mindfulness is a journey, not a destination.
