The white shirt is classic but it doesn't have to be boring ! Especially when you play around with different details like the collar, placket and cuff . For example look at the white shirt that I am wearing below , it is one of the numerous white shirts I own. But I have played around with the collar and the placket. I have gone for a Mandarin collar to make it more summer appropriate And a concealed placket for a more streamlined look. And same way you can also play around with different details in other classic pieces in your wardrobe (not just limited to shirts) to give it a twist . For example even my trousers are no ordinary classic Navy trousers they have inward pleats and no belt loops for a more streamlined appearance. I hope this post gave you some ideas for you to play around in your wardrobe. #personalstylist #fashionstylist #classics #imageconsultant #styletips #bigandstylish #imagecoach #stylecoach

Suit Mistakes Men Make - #3: Buttoning the Bottom Button One of the most common style rules that often gets overlooked is never button the bottom button of your suit jacket. Whether it’s a two-button or three-button suit, the bottom button should always be left undone. Why? This simple rule dates back to historical trends, but more importantly, it helps the suit flow naturally with your body’s movements. Buttoning that last button restricts the fabric, ruining the jacket’s silhouette and your comfort. Mastering this rule instantly elevates your look, giving you a refined and effortless appearance. This is the third post in my series on suit mistakes men make. Let's keep the conversation going—did you know about this rule, or is it new to you? Mastering the Perfect Tie Knot Your tie is more than just an accessory – it's a statement of precision and style. Whether it's a Windsor, Half-Windsor, or Four-in-Hand, the knot you choose defines your look. A perfectly tied knot not only adds structure to your suit but also reflects attention to detail that sets you apart. - Length matters: The tip of your tie should just graze your belt buckle for that flawless finish. - Knot it right: The size of the knot should complement your collar type – bold for spread collars, sleek for narrow ones. Get the tie right, and you’ve nailed the look! #mizaj #menofmizaj #customisedsuits #weddingsuits #tie #tieknot #fashiontips #tietips #perfectfit

Colors That Work—and Ones That Don’t Color combinations can make or break your outfit. For men, understanding how colors interact is key to elevating your style and confidence. Let’s explore some winning combos—and those best avoided. Winning Combinations: • Olive + White or Black: Olive shines with white for a clean look or with black for a striking contrast. • Blue + Grey: A versatile classic—pair a blue blazer with grey trousers or a light blue shirt with a grey sweater. • Brown + Bardot (Burgundy): Rich and sophisticated, ideal for autumn or formal occasions. • Black + White: Timeless, elegant, and perfect for formal settings or when in doubt. Combinations to Avoid: • Olive + Bardot: These deep tones clash, creating a heavy and unbalanced look. • Blue + Black: Often lacks contrast, resulting in a flat appearance. • Grey + Brown: Challenging to pull off without looking uninspired. A rare exception? Blue jacket, grey pants, and brown shoes. Mastering color is about more than following rules—it’s about balance, harmony, and confidence. Need help refining your style?
