Nestlé’s Training & Development-Case Study In today’s session, we explored Nestlé’s approach to training and development, a prime example of effective human capital management. Using the case study method made our discussion engaging and practical, highlighting key strategies and real-world applications. Key Insights: On-the-Job Training: Nestlé emphasizes hands-on learning, with managers playing a crucial role in coaching their teams. Apprenticeship Programs: Designed to build a skilled workforce, though facing challenges like talent poaching, these programs provide a strong foundation for career growth. International Training: The Rive-Reine Centre in Switzerland illustrates Nestlé’s commitment to global leadership and cross-cultural learning. The case study method proved invaluable in understanding how Nestlé balances local and global training needs.
