⚡An arc flash isn’t just a spark — it’s a dangerous burst that can cause fires, melt clothes and burn skin. Most burn injuries happen when regular clothing catches fire, not from the arc itself. Be like Tom. Suit up in the right PPE and stay safe. https://lnkd.in/efCcmMcS
This video makes me thankful for my office job. My goodness - stay safe out there!
Anyone opening gear like this should be highly trained, supervised and work with a spotter. 🚒
Interesting
I know of someone that had died from something like this.
Nice post, you would be amazed how many people do not or been trained about arc flash
Never experienced it but seen it on videos…a lot of people working around energy and have not experienced a shock do not take it seriously
Estoy de acuerdo....but owener do not want to pay for "THE BEST FOR EMPLOYES ".
This is awesome!!! Thanks for the great video!!
Very informative
TAKE CONTROL of ARC FLASH! Electrical Safety Specialist, Management Consultant - helping employers take control of electrical hazard management with validated residual risk at TW Becker Electrical Safety Consulting Inc.
1dWe all need to ensure we place more focus on the electric shock hazard that can lead to electrocution. All workers on a worksite are potentially exposed to electric shock. OSHA electrical incident statistics prove that electrocutions have been and are still occurring at an unacceptable frequency not only in the United States but globally. The narrative unfortunately has propped up the abnormal arcing fault/arc flash hazard and electric shock has been neglected.
