Dreading your January to do list? Here’s the science-backed method to actually get things done—and it’s simpler than you think. According to a Harvard study (2018) Time-boxing is the most effective productivity method. Here’s how to Time-box effectively in 3 simple steps - 1. Brain dump - write down all your tasks 2. Prioritise tasks in order 3. Block time in your calendar to tackle specific tasks The reason time-boxing is so effective is because you allocate specific time to achieve each task. Having a to do list is great but setting aside a time to tackle the task is where the magic happens. You’ll learn quickly that you can’t do everything. Some tasks are quick. While some are painfully long. Time-boxing has been teaching me to manage my time better. And time is our most precious resource, so managing it better is one of my key aims for 2025. - Understand what I have to do - Decide where my focus should be - Commit specific time to take action What do you need to Time-box this week?

The power of perfect timing. Your day has a hidden pattern: 1. Peak: → Your brain is sharpest, perfect for deep focus and problem-solving. 2. Trough: → Energy dips, making this the best time for routine, low-effort tasks. 3. Recovery: → Creativity surges, ideal for brainstorming and big ideas. Here's how to use It: • Do your hardest tasks when you’re sharpest - during the peak. • Save emails and admin work for the trough. • Explore creative ideas in the recovery phase. Timing isn’t everything, but it changes everything. Work with your rhythm. Not against it. Want to level up? Go here - https://lnkd.in/gnRxu3kA

Ever put off a task because it felt too daunting, only to realize later that starting was the hardest part? That’s where the 2-Minute Rule comes in. It’s simple: If a task takes less than 2 minutes, do it now. If it’s longer, just commit to starting it for 2 minutes. I applied this to my work and found that once I started a task—whether it was drafting an email or organizing a report—I often continued for much longer. The hardest part was beginning, and those first 2 minutes made it easier. It’s been a productivity lifesaver, especially on busy days when my to-do list feels overwhelming. Try this: 👇 Start with just 2 minutes. You’ll be amazed at how often those 2 minutes turn into real progress. Have you tried the 2-Minute Rule? What’s your go-to trick for beating procrastination?
