Our recent efforts in enhancing science education at the Govt. Middle School in Naugard, Singrauli, Madhya Pradesh, supported by the National Payments Corporation Of India (NPCI) as part of their commendable CSR initiatives. The establishment of a Mini Science Centre is a significant step forward in providing students with hands-on learning experiences that ignite curiosity and foster a deeper understanding of scientific concepts. . Recently, one of our teachers conducted a comprehensive session on the viscosity tube models. These models serve as an engaging tool for students to visualize and understand the concept of viscosity in a practical setting. By manipulating the models, students can observe the behavior of different fluids in real time, reinforcing their theoretical knowledge through direct observation and experimentation. . The interactive nature of the Mini Science Centre not only enhances the learning experience but also encourages critical thinking and problem-solving skills among students. It empowers them to ask questions, make predictions, and draw conclusions based on their observations. This hands-on approach to science education is vital in cultivating a generation of inquisitive minds ready to tackle the challenges of tomorrow. . Our partnership with NPCI is instrumental in making this initiative a reality. Their commitment to improving educational infrastructure in India underscores the importance of investing in the future of our youth. A key feature of this initiative is the establishment of a Mini Science Centre, which includes interactive and innovative models that bring abstract concepts to life. One of the highlights of the centre is the Newton Cradle Model, which demonstrates the principles of physics engagingly and tangibly. Teachers can use this model to explain concepts such as momentum, energy conservation, and force transfer, allowing students to better visualize and understand these essential scientific principles.  . The teacher-led sessions with the Newton Cradle are particularly impactful, as they encourage hands-on learning, where students can directly interact with the models to observe scientific laws in action. The impact of our educational initiatives in the Raid Shabong Border Area School, Pynursula, Meghalaya, supported by the North Eastern Electric Power Corporation Limited (NEEPCO India) as part of its CSR initiative. This collaboration has been a significant step forward in strengthening educational infrastructure in remote regions of India, ensuring that students in these areas have access to quality education. . In our continuous efforts to bridge the educational gap, we recently introduced a Mini Science Centre (MSC) at the school. The MSC is designed to offer students practical, hands-on learning experiences, making abstract scientific concepts more tangible. Among the notable models available in the lab are detailed exhibits of the Human Ear and Eye, which help students understand the intricate workings of these sensory organs. . During a recent session, the school’s teachers demonstrated the functionality of these models, guiding students through the structure and function of the human ear and eye. The visual and interactive approach not only enhanced students' engagement but also deepened their understanding of complex anatomical systems. This method of teaching promotes curiosity and encourages students to explore science beyond textbooks. . NEEPCO’s support has been instrumental in making these resources available to students in this remote region. Their commitment to fostering educational development through CSR programs underscores the role of corporate partnerships in driving meaningful social impact.
