🚀 Exciting News! 🚀 I am thrilled to share that I have successfully completed the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) of the Planning With Poker web app! 🎉 After facing challenges with finding a reliable Planning With Poker app for my team, I took matters into my own hands and decided to create one from scratch. From the project's inception to its completion, the journey has been both challenging and rewarding. As a bonus, towards the end of the year, a domain provider extended a generous discount my way, prompting me to take the plunge and publish the web app for everyone to benefit. 🌐 Without further ado, I am delighted to present the Planning With Poker web app, now live and accessible at: https://lnkd.in/dNmAMJyh This project is not just mine; it's ours! 🤝 I have open-sourced the code on GitHub, and you are invited to contribute, explore, and enhance the app. Feel free to fork the repository at https://lnkd.in/diHTkTxU to add new features or squash any bugs you might come across. Let's make planning and collaboration even more seamless! 🚀 Your feedback and contributions are highly valued. Thank you for being part of this journey! 🙌 #PlanningWithPoker #WebApp #OpenSource #Collaboration #MVPComplete #angular #firebase #typescript #agile #scrum

Presenting the final product of our Agile methodologies class project - Bookaholic app! 📱 Part 2 of our documentation showcases the culmination of our efforts, as we transformed our vision into a digital product. Leveraging Figma, we meticulously designed and prototyped the app, ensuring seamless user experiences and enhanced stakeholder engagement. We successfully conducted two releases, marking significant milestones in the app's journey. The initial launch after the second iteration laid the foundation for Bookaholic's presence in the digital landscape. After the third iteration, we released updates and added features aimed at enhancing the user experience, further solidifying Bookaholic's position as a premier platform for book enthusiasts. This project has provided invaluable insights into industry-standard Agile practices and the dynamics of cross-functional teamwork. As a product manager, I've gained hands-on experience in developing digital products, honing my skills in project management, stakeholder collaboration, and product development. Thank you for being a part of the team Pooja Poddar. #AgileMethodologies #ProductManagement #DigitalProducts #Figma #ProjectManagement

This is game-changing in the realm of code AI assistants. Trying to write code using a particular SDK? Now you can '@https://sdk-docs-url` and include the latest SDK documentation as context alongside your code. How about bootstrapping some architecture diagrams using your favorite software architecture diagramming tool? I like to use Structurizr. Give Cody an instruction like `create a component model of Sourcegraph services using @openctx:https://lnkd.in/gZUsCm5n. The output is a working model that correctly identifies components in the frontend, backend, and data stores of a Sourcegraph deployment. The best part? We created OpenCtx as an open source standard, released under the Apache 2.0 license.
It can be annoying to switch between tools when coding: open the issue in Linear or Jira, jump into Figma, look up the error on Sentry (sentry.io), and so on. With OpenCtx, an open standard for bringing info from all these tools into anywhere you read code, you don't have to. Learn more about OpenCtx, how to contribute, and try it for yourself with Cody for VS Code today! https://lnkd.in/gz963gfw

Say goodbye to the waterfall approach – we're all about agile development. When building your app, we prioritize frequent deliveries so you can see progress and provide feedback every step of the way. Unlike developing an entire app start-to-finish, and then unveiling it all at once, we deliver working components incrementally. This collaborative process allows you to course-correct as needed, ensuring the final product aligns with your vision. If you want a true software partner that values transparency and your ongoing input, our agile methodology is the way to go for a successful project. #webuildapps #webdevelopment

#TipOfTheDay - Mastering Incremental Development with File Handling as Your Guide Starting with a hardcoded document might seem basic, but it's your first step toward agile mastery. Here’s how to incrementally evolve a simple file download feature into a robust component of your app: - Begin with Bare Bones: Initiate with a hardcoded document. It's simple, but it works, and it sets the stage for future enhancements. - Layer on the Logic: Add dynamic document generation, influenced by user inputs or data. It’s all about adding value step by step. - Validate for Victory: Integrate file type and size validations early. Start simple, then refine to align with user needs and security standards. - Feedback Fuels Functionality: Use user feedback as your compass. Each enhancement should be a response to what your users tell you they need. - Test, Tweak, Triumph: Iterative testing and refinement ensure that with each new feature, your app becomes more powerful and intuitive. - Educate and Engage: Keep users in the loop about what file types and sizes are acceptable, turning potential frustrations into teachable moments. Remember, incremental development is about evolution, not revolution. Taking small steps allows you to build functionality that's truly responsive to user needs while maintaining agility and adaptability. Embrace the journey, and watch your project grow! #AgileDevelopment #IncrementalGrowth #DevTips #SoftwareEngineering #TechInnovation

The 100 Days of Product Development. is an initiative by the Forge, Marvellous Amos, Golden M. Monday, and Miracle Alozie members. As the name implies, this initiative is centered around upskilling the participant technologically, improving business-product translation ability, and developing a character founded on consistency and dedication. 5 minutes, 1 hour, a full day!...the time spent daily is entirely up to you to decide, as long as you code. To participate in this challenge: - Visit the repo https://lnkd.in/dPaH_zHT - Fork then Clone the repository - Create a new breach named as YOUR_NAME (e.g. `-b <Kulture> `) - And get coding. Don't forget to push your local git branch to the GitHub repository along with your daily build and create a pull request to have your amazing work added to the build. Looking a bit complex? Not sure how to start? Well, you have 100 days to figure it out. It's going to be a challenge, but I guess you wouldn't be here if it wasn't. GodSpeed
